Best breakfast I've had at a hotel/B & B. Simple, clean room, with a balcony and a nice view. One thing to know is that there isn't an office, or staff around all day- just in the mornings (though you can always call someone). When we arrived we spent awhile looking for someone before we saw a bag with our name on it on a table in the main room. It had our key and welcome info inside.

I showed up in Gudhjem without reservations.  I found that most of the places in town were either booked with school groups or didn't have owners around if they weren't expecting anyone to stop by.  I passed Pension Koch from the bus stop on my way to the harbor, and stopped by to see if there were rooms available.  The cleaning staff called the owner and was able to give me a room (the cleaning staff at other places I stopped by did not offer to do this).

I had a first floor room in the main building.  It was cosy and quiet.  The breakfasts were amazing.  Bicycle rentals are available.  It is right across the street from a main bus stop, so, for someone without a car, it was very convenient.  The walk to the harbor was under ten minutes, downhill.  There were also two grocery stores nearby, and a bank with an ATM machine.

In the evenings, I enjoyed sitting outside, looking out over the ocean.  I often sat in the parlor at night to read when it got too dark to sit outside.

In addition to the main house, there were two other buildings, both with balconies overlooking the ocean.

I spent three nights here, surrounded by German and Swedish tourists.  I loved it.

IF you are looking for a nice quiet spot on a beautiful location this is the friendly place for you. Pension Koch has a long history, and back in the 60's they served breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Now it's just breakfast, which was very good in a home-like kind of way.
The rooms have been modernized, and have small kitchens. Nice comfortable beds.
When you visit Bornholm everything is very close, so you can drive anywhere on the island in very short time.

Great breakfast, good view, clean room.

Convenient, reasonably priced, and friendly staff

Rally nice and oldfashioned  in a good way!

The accommodation was disappointing and we were not made to feel welcome. Staff unfriendly. Bed linen and towels were not provided and it was unfair that this was definitely not made clear in the description of the accommodation or in terms & conditions. We later found out you could 'rent' bed linen and towels at an additional cost but needed to contact staff at another site and payment was cash only.
