Chalet Hřebenka

Chalet Hřebenka is ideal for 5 (or 10) families - the building is separated into 2 parts, each one has 5 rooms of various sizes. Each half contains 2 shared kitchens and bathrooms - thats why it's better to go with friends. The house is clean, easily accessible from the city centre. There's ski school 10 minutes by foot, several ski slopes (various difficulty) nearby. From the window, you can see the main skiing area Čertova hora. We were there with 4 other families and we LOVED it. There's enough room for kids to play (inside relax is important after a day out in the nature or skiing), and there's also nice area in the basement for adults to have some fun, when the kids go to sleep (think "adult playroom"). I strongly recommend to plan to cook your own meals, there are 2 fully equipped kitchens in each half (pots, pans, cutlery... just bring your cook!) - and if you plan to go there during winter season, the restaurants in the area are usually fully booked several weeks ahead, and - of course - pricey. The main difference is the pool inside. Its a real big thing, with counter current, around 8m x 3m. My kids went in and almost refused to leave, and when we were leaving, they literally forced me to book this a year ahead, for the next winter holiday. Everything is clean, in the level you'd expect from a luxury ski resort cottage. Pleasant and helpful hosts solved all our extra requests within couple of hours. We loved it, and will be coming back.
