The service is really good, the staff is very kind and attentive to the customers, the offer is not very broad and the prices, for most of those who frequent the pool area, are too high, a lemonade for $240 the same price as a mojito or sangría, a water bottle for 500 ml $120, a white cheese sandwich for $450 30 pesos more than a fried chicken, an imported beer for $200, my modest criterion that something is wrong, of course for those with a large source of income the option is good, with the exception of sunshine and heat, for most Santaclare people impossible.

Good service, prices and a hot afternoon.

The windows were not locked, the rooms were dark and there was a party outside and I didn't sleep until 1am. During the night there was a lot of noise of people entering and leaving. And breakfast was a cafe and pan with nothing.

Owner/ Manager only appeared to dispute our 2 night stay bill, on checkout.
Lack of good daily management all too apparent..
Centrally located, near main square.
Small room.Not checked.  Shower drain blocked- failed to spot water flowing over
the narrow lip, into the bathroom, into the bedroom, into the hall…
Low ceiling breakfast room.Unsupervised waiter deafened us, both days,
by non stop blending gallons of fruit juice, with the kitchen a swing door 
behind him.
Coffee- ask for a refill- 3 euros please.
Breakfast sparse and forgettable. Dinners too. Surly staff.
Pool should have been ok, apart from the blaring music to the 
non existent people at the pool.  
Worst hotel we stayed in in Cuba.
But good management would improve it..

Three stars- should be- but isn’t

The square is clean and looks well maintained. The rooms are decent with mattresses not too comfortable, the restaurant in the hotel is good and at a reasonable price. At some times this hotel is too expensive and at other times it is reasonable. On the other hand, it is the only one in the city centre that has a swimming pool.

Basic, a little expensive, but the only one with a swimming pool in town...

I didn't stay in the hotel, however the hotel restaurant is nice and the food is good although for me the best option is to spend the day in the pool with friends and family.It is not crowded so the stay is quiet and the food options besides the pizzeria are good.

Swimming day is for me the best option.

I just started writing this text from the hotel restaurant, where after paying 29 CUC x persona (offer) which included breakfast, lunch, and a meal on the menu, when I am with my wife conducting the dinner, I am told that I cannot order some of the offers on the menu. I was given a silly explanation in terms that only the workers know (to vary) and I had to pay extra cash for the plate we had ordered.

The Lies of America

It's a small city hotel, well downtown, just a block from Santa Clara's Central Park, comfortable rooms, a good deal, an excellent swimming pool with very good service, for the short stays is ideal.

Buen Hotel de la ciudad is located in the city.

The hotel was better than we expected.  The A/C was good.  Very pleasant receptionist.Our room overlooked the street.  It was clean but very small.  Bathroom also clean.  Some toiletries provided.  Nice bar/terrace.  Evening meal was nice.  Wine available at 28/35 CUC per bottle!  Breakfast was a choice of cold plate or fried eggs - no bacon available.  No lift but porter carried cases.

1 NIGHT STAY IN SANTA CLARA

The Cuban bourgeoisie seems to have its habits there. The restaurant was quite good despite the slow service. The hotel is much too expensive given the quality. The only advantage is that it is well located

Nice hotel with good service. excellent food. It's pretty much there. spectacular rooms. the pool is simple but it keeps everything very clean and organized. the bar swimming the pilongos with excellent service.
