Carlton Guest House - Carlton Group of Hostels

When I booked the Carlton Guest House for me and my son , my expectations were already managed since I knew it was a hostel. This means , no room service, no opulent surroundings, no frills , no fuss. This was fine because all I wanted was a safe and secure place to stay at where we can sleep ,bathe and leave our belongings while we explore the city. The rooms are small ,yes , because seriously the rate they charge is really inexpensive. Meeting the guys who manage the place (Ramsey and Steve ) was also one of the highlights of staying there. They were really awesome and are easy to talk to . Because of them, we felt safe and secure. Doesn’t matter if the façade of the building looks frightening due to the characters standing in front of the entrance (mostly Indians , Pakistans and Nigerians ) .These individuals are what makes the place interesting and they are nice too if you make time to talk to them. They’re also very helpful. Of course, there are a couple of bad tomatoes in the mix but it’s that way everywhere else, right? You just have to use your best judgment. The hostel is also near restaurants, the supermarket and a lot of 711’s . I would definitely recommend this hostel to all you guys out there who want to explore Hongkong without breaking the bank.
