It was a bit difficult to find the building because it is a private house, with a somewhat sinister appearance from the outside, and without any kind of poster to advertise it.The lady who runs it was very kind, and offers a homemade breakfast.The room was spacious, comfortable, and very warm (perhaps too much heating).As a point of improvement, perhaps the facilities and bathroom cleaning.

Pleasant, but with some improvements.

Rooms are uncomfortable - no heating, big air gap at window & cramped. Bed was uncomfortable with a thin mattress & very old pillows.
Breakfast was below average.
It proved impossible to pay with credit card & she insisted that we pay the consequent extra 19% tax.
The location & price aren't too bad but this place doesn't deserve a good rating.

We went to the island of Porvenir, Chile and we booked this hotel, rather this hostel... Actually, there's not even a poster to mention that the hostel is good here... we had to go knock... to validate that it was right there... The old lady doesn't speak either English or French... Just Spanish... It says that you can pay with credit cards, FAUX, she doesn't even have the device to do it... We have to pay at night... In the shower, I found hair, weighing..... it doesn't look like there's anyone there who served there... Lunch with a lot of dates, go to and don't go there... we didn't get any more than 30000 because the card dealer gave it to us at night...

Not the most comfortable beds, not the best heating, but the goodwill and excellent care that is crowned with a dream-like homemade breakfast by the adorable Mrs. Mrgarita more than compensate and justify the stay or a potential return.

The price is very good in relation to the high points that she has: 1. Excellent breakfast: kitchen and pan, eggs revolt, tea, coffee, milk, etc. 2. Very close to the center and on the beach. 3. Very clean. 4. Wifi works excellent, so I could watch a series on the net without any problems. 5. Rooms with private bathroom. Low point: Only one, rooms without individual heating, so for cooler people it can be a disadvantage, but generally the hostel is well heated. Totally recommended!

How to be at home

The hostel costs 15 thousand pesos (22 USD) per person, the best part is that the pieces have a private bathroom, you can pay by card, the bathroom is old but this clean room is clean and hygienic, the towels are clean and planched, it has a cable TV, there are pieces for 4 or 2, but not shared, if there are two beds and you occupy only one you pass the piece and no one else enters, in addition there is breakfast included.

The hotel is like an old farmhouse. The carpeted floors and stairs, lots of paintings and statuettes on the cabinets and tables. And there's clean, good plumbing, a very decent breakfast and a very hospitable hostess who doesn't speak English. There's a parking lot at the hotel. And a very good price-quality ratio.
