This motel has offered showers and washroom accessibility to any trucker in the area that needs it during the Covid-19 crisis. Kudos to the Rest Inn Lytton management for understanding that truckers give up their time and safety to allow others to isolate. I hope one day to make it to this fine motel and meet the owners in person.

We hit a rock slide coming through the pass, and put our car out of commission. We needed a place to stay for the night, and was pleasantly surprised by the Rest Inn. The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful, pointing us towards mechanics in the area and accommodating our impromptu stay. The room was clean, warm and everything worked perfectly. We were super grateful to find this place in our time of need. Thanks for everything!

Nice and clean  all new room free internet and brake fast this is only new hotel in town  very nice and comfort bed I had good sleep fleet screen big TV  full size coffee maker microwave i ask for extra towel no problem  the manager give 2 towel and all do give me free of charge water bottle and pop  nice people running  every one must stay @ Restinn

Lytton is small and this motel is on Main St. so you can walk everywhere. Basic motel with smallish room but it had a fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board.

Great stop in a quaint town

We stayed in a "suite," but believe me there was nothing sweet about it. It had that let me check for bedbugs before I get in bed kind of feel. (There weren't any by the way) Simply said, the room was dreary. The furniture and amenities were old and nothing matched. The oven didnt work properly. There are no outlets in the bathroom. You can hear everything going on outside of the room and in the rooms next to you. With the town being so small I can understand why they place doesn't have top notch amenities, but it definitely needs some sprucing up.

Would not stay again, unless absolutely necessary

Basic, acceptable motel.

I can't understand how this place got the good rating. If the room was 'renovated' I shudder to think what it looked like before. Bathroom was in desperate need of work and the place did not feel clean. Beds were very uncomfortable with the single bed springs poking through. Safety chain on door was broken and bathroom door wouldn't close without jamming. Towels smelt very odd, like bad men's cologne. There were spiders in the bath and a massive clump of hair clogged the bath drain. We wore flip flops to shower. The person at the desk took ages to help the people in front of us then apparently couldn't find my reservation despite me providing them with the documents, we ended up paying for an 'upgraded' room which was apparently the last one available. Given that we were arriving so late in the day after a long drive, we just had to suffer through. No word or sign of the apparently free continental breakfast. I suspect it would have been the same quality as the rest of the place anyway. We got up and got out as fast as we could. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is by far the worst and only worth $45 a night. I would suggest you keep driving.

No way

Hotel description says 'free breakfast' but there is not. It is not even an option, there is no lounge room or common areas. Only thing available is some ground coffee in the room.Other than that, the room looks much newer on the pictures than they actually are.

Seems like hotel staff is trying, but this is a very basic motel, with small rooms.  Restaurant choices in town limited and unappealing. But, room was freshly painted and bed was ok.

If this is renovated I don't want to see what it looked like before. Good for a night if you have to stop. The towels were clean, bed not to bad, front desk friendly. We were up at night as the trains rumbled by overhead.
