Good Knight Inn

Great place if your wanting discreet visits so I enjoy this place very much. I come here often with a few different people and we always enjoy our stay. Nobody bothers you even if your a little loud don't need to pillow face it

Price was cheapest in town on TripAdvisor. Good cable package. Beds were very comfortable. Flooring was good. Laminate not ratty old carpet. Clean. Hot water worked good. Great restaurant next door. Highly recommended!

We have been going to Lloydminster on  business for the past 2 months or so and have stayed at the Good Knight Inn while in lloydminster.  The staff was great, and very friendly and helpful. The room was reasonable and very clean. I'm a very picky person when it comes to accommodations. We will be staying at the Good Knight Inn every time we go to lloydminster.  I would recommend the motel very highly to everyone.  Thanks to the staff at the Good Knight Inn for making our stay pleasurable.

I rate this 4 star compared to other hotels in its class. It's not comparable to Holiday Inn or Best Western or anything like that. The room was newly renovated, nice TV and a very comfortable bed. I don't know what they clean the rooms with but it smelled like turpentine when I walked in. I didn't notice it afterwards tho. The floors are thin, I could here the people above me talking and listening to music all night, not partying, just talking and regular music. I'd spend the night again if I was passing through based on the low price, much lower than what the app is advertising

Great budget motel!

Didn't pre-book, chose this hotel because they allowed dogs. Room was clean and recently renovated. very plain but adequate accomodation, well heated. Shower had good pressure and hot water however was slow to drain. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV (tried both remotes - perhap one was just out of batteries?). We slept really well despite the motel being right beside the highway, before we went to bed we could hear train whistles occasionally but it didn't keep us up. Price was reasonable considering we had a pet with us and it is a busy oil region.

The not so good: we were there on a very cold night (below -20C) and the two plugin spots near our car were not functional (the indicator light on our cord didn't come on) and people were parked in front of the other plugin spots. I checked a few times thoughout the evening and it didn't come on so it wasn't that it was a cycling plugin. This would not have been an issue if it hadn't been such a cold night, fortunately our car started in the morning but I probably would have gone elsewhere if I'd known this would happen. So I'd recommend if it is a cold night, to check that a plugin spot is available and functional before paying for a room.

I've stayed here in the past & at the then rate 80 or so a night yeah I could put up with a few issues. Noisy, old, worn out, heavy smell of dope. But I stayed here in December of 2013 & at 110 a night no less! Yeah they were gouging. I think the thermostat was there for decoration as it plainly did not work. So ended up using a valve in the bathroom to turn the heat on & off. I was there for over three weeks & would have moved if I never had so much stuff & getting off late. If the rate was around $80 again maybe worth roughing it. Cant wait for the new hotels to open in town & hopefully drive down the prices.
