I went in January 2023. The inn has no reception, no specific staff for the tasks, the place to take breakfast is dirty, with dogs defecating where people pass, dirty smell and no welcome. I love animals but the dogs are passing right through the coffee shop. It looked like a cork. To get to the rooms, I had a small wooden bridge that passed over a stream that you don't know if it was sewage or even water. In some rooms, the wood fed to a mould almost unbearable for those who have allergies. Next to the rooms, there were wooden social chairs all dirty and dog pee and cork next to it. The rain in the room that I didn't get paid 2 times with me.

February 2018, a week before the carnival, this hotel was empty, 160 employees a day, we booked by the Booking website. We arrived at the hotel a day earlier, just to check the location, as we were in a neighboring town, Paraty. When we got there, there was no reception. A woman (wife 1) approached us and said that there were no reservations for us, and that, reservations would only be possible with deposit in this account or money in hand. So we informed the booking on the Booking website, and the same informed us not to know what would be Booking. So we called the wife2, this woman confirmed the reservation, by my half-time delayed payment. We paid and ran out of bars.

Lack of management, hostel with no defined standards, no defined staff and unpreparedness in treating guests.

I was at this reservation at the beginning of February 2018. We booked for the booking, in the correct way, when we arrived at the inn, a woman before we got out of the car was already waving for us to enter, which was pretty notionless. The inn's owner's daughter spoke to us, she said she tried to send us a WhatsApp message to talk about our reservation, the local rules, but we still didn't get it, so she asked for the daily money, we paid, said everything was in our informal way, she didn't give us a price receipt, there was no payment, she also informed us that there was no breakfast. The room was full of professional beds, we had a clean mattress, and we had towels full of reception. Lousy. Horrible coffee, employees working drunk and yelling at each other, room mocked and expensive. Lousy cost benefit. I don't recommend and never stay again, until there are much more interesting city inns.
