Located on a rushing mountain stream, the Bananal River provides a relaxing sound. Stream fed swimming pools and fountains. Good views of the Serra das Orgaos. Homemade breakfast & lunch included. Host made arrangements for taxi service or would take us on trips himself if he had time. Short walk into Guapimirim where local flavor can be indulged and the bus to Terosopolis can be caught. Much more reasonably priced than Terosopolis pousadas. Accommodations are very modest and fans are the only air conditioning available in the warmer months. Cold beer was available on the premises if you did not fee like walking out for a drink.
