The rooms are very spacious and the pool area has a beautiful view. The service leaves much to be desired, a huge spider appeared in the room we called the reception and the person said that he could not come to help us. In addition we felt we missed being welcomed, we faced almost 3 hours in bottle with child, we arrived 1 hour before check-in and no water was offered we left our bags and went to the beach and back the bags were still at the reception. We need much more care, the service. We chose to stay in Pousada to have this, and there is nothing but breakfast, a drink bar in the pool, snack, it took even more to be removed. The fridge gets empty. After all, we have to have these services.

Comfortable rooms but poor service and no amenities

It's not worth the high cost, it's careless, dirty, full of bugs, it smells bad in the room, it even had a cockroach inside the room, the door handle fell off, it had no air conditioning or bathroom hose, cracks in the walls, I went with an expectation and I was very disappointed, I ordered gas water and I just didn't have it at the hotel.

I expected much more.

We stayed in the AR Suite, it has a beautiful view, it's super ventilated and it's in great condition. The amenities offered in the room are excellent, hot tub, gas shower, network, chair set and interior and interior table. Practical kitchen. The service is good. The breakfast is simple but tasty, light and well served.

We're delighted with the inn, it's all very beautiful.

If we stay in the garden suite, on 15-16-17/12 the room is very cozy, it has a small compact kitchen with fridge and stove, among other utensils, which provides economics with food. The bed is very large, it has a smart TV with LED, a dining table in the bedroom and another table on the balcony, where it has a private garden, we receive the pleasant visit of the monkey wards, all four of them very small. Despite the forest climate, which usually generates problems with insects, it is all right, both the room and the bathroom and the balcony.

Great, I recommend it to everyone.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Pousada das Palmeiras, in the Garden Suite. The suite is wide, has a balcony with a garden view that is charming. During our stay, they exchanged the TVs for smartv with access to Netflix, if the guest has a streaming account can access it. You can't expect a hostel in the forest to have no mosquitoes and other insects, but the room is available with insecticide and you only take care of the windows and doors open at the end of the day. Coffee is served in the room, which guarantees more privacy. Our daughter loved watching the saws, birds and crickets.

Best hotel in floripa

Very very nice little hotel (or 'pousada', as they say) with great views of the lake 'Barra da Lagoa'. We find there a cosy chalet with a charming jacuzzi, a comfortable queen bed next to a veranda and a decent bathroom. There's no room service except for the daily and included breakfast, which is great with local, fresh and homemade products. The staff is basically one person that does also the 'concierge' function, if you want to book a dinner in one of the local restaurants (and there are many good ones around). It's this minimalistic approach that makes the local unique and so romantic.
A really good choice for a special weekend.
