Quando vimos a na internet, já achei maravilhoso, porém quando cheguei me apaixonei pelo lugar, onde conheci muitos amigos te todo lugar do Brasil e do mundo! Fui duas vezes, fiquei por lá por u mês no total é sempre fui muito bem atendido pelo Erik, Kauê e Eduardo, pessoas que tornaram amigos pra sempre!

I recommend for anyone that want to find a nice, quiet, and a place where you can find nice friends from everywhere in this world and bold a friendship forever!

The guys who work there are just amazing and Igor sure you will feel very welcome over there!

I can't wait to return!



hostel da terra is a lovely place. Arrived for 2 nights, ended up staying 2 weeks. Very nice staff/owners, they are very helpfull and they took us out kayakking on the lake one day. I would definately recommend a stay here if you like a layed back reggae shark atmosphere! Enjoy

this hostel was one of my favourites so far. right from the first moment i entered it felt like coming home.
it is a cozy place with a nice patio, everyone - working and visiting - was super friendly. spent the nights drinking wine, listening to the guitar music and just enjoying life.
only negative point: the walls are really thin so when people are hanging out downstairs you will hear it for sure and south americans can be loud :) 
but i was always so exhausted it did not disturb me. 
will return for sure!

We stayed there for 3 or 4 days and it was excellent. Everyone there was really helpful providing good directions and things to do. The atmosphere was amazing, we had an awesome time and highly recommend this hostel to anyone headed to Floripa. Thanks Eric and Kauê!!

Lovely, layed back hostel

Amazing Hostel 

This hostel is amazing. It has some of the friendliest staff, and they are extremely helpful. No breakfast but free coffee in the morning. Great wifi, fun hammocks to sit in and relax, and nice rooms and a good common area. Hostel has great showers, hand soap and is really clean. The staff is constantly cleaning too so it always smells great around the hostel. I would have given this hostel 5 stars but we had a bad experience at the end.

We were just relaxing at the hostel on the day of our checkout and we had returned from the beach, all sweaty and dirty. We wanted to shower and the 3 of us took a very quick shower before our long bus ride. We hadn't asked, which was our fault, but we did not intentionally try to cheat the hostel by showering, we had just forgotten. The manager found out we had taken a shower and she charged us 50% of the price to stay one night ($5 USD) just for a 3 minute shower. She also said we were charged because we sat in the hostel waiting for our bus.

I have never experienced this at any hostel in my life (and I have stayed at over 200 hostels across the world). Even worse, we found out our other friend (who was also leaving for the bus with us) had asked the manager if he could take a shower (even though he wasn't staying the night) and she said YES, and let him do it for free, but she charged us! I am just shocked because we had stayed at the hostel for many days and it just seemed insulting and made us feel like we weren't appreciated. This was very bad customer service and we were very upset.

Besides this, the hostel is great and you should stay here. Just don't take a shower or sit at the hostel and relax on your checkout day without asking the manager. Sit in the bus station all day.
