Pension Tannhof

The guesthouse is a five minute walk from the lake and the bus stop, it´s clean and pleasantly furnished, breakfast was abundant and tasty, the staff was friendly. There was a fridge in the room, and we also got an electrical kettle and mugs when we asked for them, a hair dryer is in the bathroom. The TV had lots of channels in many languages. An entrance card for the town beach and swimming pool is given free of charge with this accommodation - which is practical, access to water in this area is usually private or you have to walk very far. We could leave our luggage at the reception after checkout, which was really helpful, and we could even use the swimming pool cards after check out too, which was really friendly of the owner. The only complaint was the weak Wi-Fi in the room - useless, but in the breakfast room it was good enough. The location is very central in this small town - this may be a preference for some travellers, but others may want to look for something further away from the roads. However, we were not disturbed by the local traffic and had a good night´s sleep. A stream flowing just by the house provides nice sounds of nature in the background. The whole area is quite pricey, 90 euro/double room per night seems a lot, but in season you don´t get a lot of better deals around, if you don´ t look for them well in advance.
