The worst caravan park we have ever stayed at.. Front desk staff weren’t very cheerful, our cabin had no hot water and we moved cabins however the maintenance man came he had no idea how to fix it and told us he was blind drunk. The cabin next to us swore at my 7yr old child. Overall just a terrible experience!

Avoid

We stay in lots of cabins and this one would be one of the best appointed we’ve experienced. All kitchen equipment - fry pan, pots, loads of utensils, plus bedside lights and tables, big bathroom, heaps of hanging space in bathroom and wardrobes. Plenty of power points. Just a great cabin overall and extremely clean and comfortable.  A lovely quiet park and friendly service.

Great cabins

We stayed here for a few days. We received a warm friendly greeting on arrival. Checkin was quick, shown to our site. The pool lis very nice. The amenities are old but very clean. Nice camp kitchen, although the bbq is in need of a good clean. Good location near the shops and tavern.

Good location 

Chris was extremely helpful and accommodating of our late arrival. Was just an overnight stay on our way from Gold Coast to Airlie Beach. The drive through site was perfect. We literally pulled up, slept and left in the morning. Very close to the highway. All facilities were made available however we didn’t need as we are self sufficient. 

Overnight Stay Drive Thru Site

We stayed at Maryborough Caravan Park for 3 weeks in our caravan. Chris and Pam are excellent managers who accommodated us at short notice over a very busy Christmas/New Year period.  The grounds are lovely with nice shady trees and there always seems to be a breeze.  Located close to busy roads but you hear no noise at all.  Whilst facilities are older style - they are very clean and well maintained. Laundry facilities are cheap at $4 for a very large machine.  We would highly recommend staying here for easy access to Maryborough and Hervey Bay.

Shady Oasis in a Quiet Location

Pam and Chris, the site managers, were amazing they could not do enough to help ensure that our stay was perfect.  The pool was inviting and perfectly clean, a great way to cool down and refresh after a hot day.  The cabin was clean tidy and well set up

We stayed a week and loved it

Our family stayed in a cabin overnight both on our way to and from northern NSW from Rockhampton.  The managers and staff were very friendly and helpful.  Both cabins we used were clean, comfortable and well fitted out. The park itself was well-presented and very quiet.  Well worth the slight detour off the Bruce Highway!

Well worth the Detour

Spent just one night! Cabin was neat and very clean! Pool was refreshing for the kids! Camp kitchen was plentiful and super clean! Next door to the tavern and small shopping centre for dinner or supplies! Lawns were well maintained and off the main road so nice and quiet! Also just up the road from speedway and Bmx track! But the best part was the new managers Chris and Pam! They were super friendly accomodating and obviously loved what they do! Well done! 5 stars

Great park - friendly staff

I go out with a little band and sing at small venues....which is what we did at the Caravan Park this passed week-end. I couldn't recommend it more highly to travellers. It has camping sites, cabins and units. The Managers are really hands on and do their utmost to give all their patrons a wonderful stay. Check out their events on facebook. The park and amenities are spotless. I stayed in a cabin and it was completely fully equipped with comfortable bed and lovely hot water. Just be careful driving out back onto highway as the signage is confusing and you can only turn left....not right into the service station.

# on the road again

After checking 2 other awful caravan parks we found this one by chance.  Lovely big sites and a  lovely lady at reception. Clean amenities and walk to a little shopping centre and pub next door. A great spot to stay.
