Very simple, but clean and strategically located accommodation. My room had a clean bed, powerful heater, and a great newly renovated bathroom with excellent hot shower! The location is within approximately 1 km of main bus station and less than that to town center. It's easy to reach both by foot, but if you have heavy suitcases, I would recommend arranging a transfer as a lot of the roads in Calafate (just like in the rest of Patagonia) are gravel and unpaved. The best part of this accommodation is a couple that runs it. Lucas is amazing, always eager to share his love for the region and its nature, gave me ton of good advice, connected me to reputable tour providers and saved me a lot of money! He speaks excellent English and (when he is not at the reception) flawlessly communicated by messenger at ANY time of day and night. It seems like they have just recently started this venture. I gave Lucas few suggestions for improvement and liked how attentive he was and was eager to implement those suggestions right away. I hope with time they will make it better and better!
