We have had a great vacation with all my friends from our company in Catba. We stayed in Flamingo resort. It was completely wonderful. 
The staff here are so friendly and helpful, especially ms Trang Bui - receptionist. She was always be ready to help and give us good recommendations in Catba.

Good experience with nature and oceance

When we first arrived, they matched Hien who is able to speak Korean fluently. She graduated and lived in the city where we came from. She was very kind and friendly. Also, the bell boy, Thai Ha, was the only staff we met who could understand and speak English. He showed us a lot of effort to find tour program from Cat ba island to Lan ha Bay or Ha long Bay. Since the price of tour program was too expensive, we decided not to go to the Lan ha Bay but he told us we can see Lan ha Bay from our own room.
Thanks to Hien and Thai Ha, we are spending great time here.

Amazing experience in Cat ba island

The hotel has a wonderful view of the sea. Two beaches and three swimming pools can cater almost every one. Lots of places to take photo such as Lan Ha panaroma, Sky Walk bridge. All you need is in the resort, so you dont have to move anywhere. My family had a relaxing holiday here. Especially desirable for those who love swimming and the sea.

Highly recommeded for a couple or family vacation

The property is super beautiful and amazing. Its a huge property with 3 buildings and many pools. We loved everything about the property but the big issue is with the staff. 
When we reached the staff bluntly told us to go we have no booking with the agoda booking id we showed in spite of mailing beforehand about our arrival and only after long discussion they managed to find our booking, 
Even staff in small hotels speak english but hardly anyone in the property understand basic english. 
We had booked 3 rooms and all 3 were different size and one was so small that  hardly 2 people can fit in, we requested for a change but were refused.
People in vietnam are super sweet but the staff in flamingo were not courteous at all.

Awesome property but big staff problem

First impress is the gorgeous view. Can easily access to the infinite beauty of Cat Ba, mixture of land and sea, never get bored. The staff’s also wonderful. It seem like they desire to smile with the guest, despite of tiredness. Warm welcome and friendly attitude, especially Mr. Chien. He gave a lot of useful advises which are very appreciate by us. HK also earned a good point. We had a requirement in a difficult time, CI time, took a bit long time but they still came with a gesture. FB staff is nice, however maybe lack of staff, they were drown in the order. The food is normal, i think their cake is the highest recommended disk in here. Overall, it’s a great, truly resort, we do have a great time in here. Thank you!

Totally Relaxed

Was great atmosphere and food! Mr. Nam was the best and his team was amazing! The food was great, almost got a second plate of their noodles, so delicious! Would highly recommend, was so full at the end and the dishes where very nice upon arrival

Amazing

The staff has been so helpful during our stay, couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. We really enjoyed Cat ba and it is very much thanks to the hotel, it’s facilities and service. The breakfast was also amazing with great selection (pictures below). We were only supposed to stay two nights but decided to extend our stay one more night. Would recommend this place 100%! 

The massage they had in their spa-section was also really cheap and good btw!

Swedish massage with Truc anh Was very relaxing highly recommend to anyone visiting cat ba island. I will be returning Tommorow to get Thai massage and facial. Thank you very much to truc anh and the team here I will be back in the future when I return to Vietnam

Very good massage

Had the best massage! Thankyou Ngo Loan! Had the best welcoming and was greeted with a nice tea! 
Would highly recommend these guys, as they are true professionals! After 1 hour of Swedish massage, I am feeling great 👍  will come back soon

Spa flamingo massage

There was a party at 6 am on the beach including loud music for about anbl entire hour, and then they had karaoke on the rooftop at night starting at 9 pm. Awful experience and i do not recommend. All of that for some promotion for a conglomerate company.
