Innkeeper's Lodge Wilmslow, Alderley Edge

I found this hotel to be very enjoyable and pleasant throughout my stay on arrival outside I asked one of the staff how to check in even though she was busy she was happy pointing me in the right direction to check-in, checking in was straightforward and the gentleman checking me in was really easy to talk to and I knew straight away this hotel prides itself in high standards after check in was given directions to my room and was given full information and answered my questions without hesitation, room was very clean and tidy and all the extras you expect in a hotel, the room was slightly smaller than I've had in other hotels but was completely adequate for a one night stay after relaxaing and freshen up I went for my meal in the restaurant (do pre-book tables as even on a Sunday night it was half full) very friendly staff took my order and I pleasantly surprised they still had Sunday roast on at 7 at night the food was absolutely amazing and so nice the high prices do reflect the high quality and standard of the food so don't be put off and I didn't begrudge paying a single for my meal, retired to bed afterwards bed was very comfy and slept throughout the night didn't have breakfast as needed to be at an appointment at 0845 in the village this hotel is an older building and does reflect on the interior slightly however do not let this put you off and I would highly recommend this place and am looking forward to returning with my family for a long weekend to explore the area in more
