The Beverley Hotel

The hosts Dave and Maureen are fab, we’ve just come back from a really good week away, we were luckily enough to get one of the 2 parking spots behind the hotel, you can have 20 mins loading and unloading on the road outside the hotel though. Check in was very easy, Dave showed us to our room and even helped by carrying a case up to the room (I’m unable to lift anything too heavy) our room had a double bed and 2 single beds, a set of draws and a wardrobe, with a sink in the corner and an ensure shower room in the corner. Towels are changed when you need them by putting them in the bottom of the shower cubical, the bedding was changed during the stay. Breakfast was served between 8.30am and 9am in the basement dining room, the stairs are quite steep but manageable. Breakfast was a choice of cereal, with orange juice, as much tea or coffee as you can possibly drink, a cooked breakfast with toast and Maureen even managed breakfast for my picky 3 year old. In the room was a kettle and tea making facilities with 2 glasses, we actually bought a bottle of squash and some plastic breakers for our children as I hated the idea of them using glasses. We used the hotel as a base for exploring and for us it was perfect, each room had a tv in there with freeview. We had a problem with one of the beds but this was soon sorted by Dave. Dave and Maureen are a lovely couple and nothing has been too much for them all week.
