It's a nice country house in the countryside near Salisbury. Good breakfast, cozy rooms at a good price.

That's very nice.

The guest house is about 30 minutes walk from the city centre (£5.00 taxi ride) and 15 minutes from Old Sarum- so a good location. The owners were very friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was very clean and quiet. Free wifi too.
My only gripe- which is picky is the tight turn into their car park-although having a car park is very positive.

Great Stay

This family run Victorian Hotel has free parking at the back. It has just the 6 bedrooms with en suite. When we checked in we received a warm welcome from Nat, who took our cases up stairs to our rooms. Mine had a bath en suite whilst my friend chose the shower in hers. The beds had memory mattresses, so comfy! The rooms were warm, clean & comfortable with the usual tea/coffee facilities & a good tv opposite the bed with plenty of channels. Fantastic breakfast, served by Helen. We were given a map with directions to the centre of Salisbury which we followed, walking along by the river. We stayed 2 nights & I would highly recommend.

Friendly Family Hotel

This B&B was a real find. It's located about a five minute bus or taxi ride to downtown Salisbury. Close to public transport with free parking and wifi, the rooms were clean an welcoming. Our hospitable owners provided a map and clearly marked suggestions of things to see and do as well as some great pubs and restaurants. Breakfast included fresh fruit, a choice of cereals and cooked to order English breakfast with tea and/or coffee. This was a really enjoyable place to stay.

A really enjoyable stay

This guest house was conveniently located for our needs, and it is quite easy to walk into town (via a pleasant path through the park and/or along the river if you so wish); a bus  stop is also nearby, as is a co-op with a cash machine. It is beautifully clean, with nice décor, and the breakfast is fresh, tasty and plentiful, though the times it is served are relatively restricted (ask in advance about the options if you need to make an early start).

I think the mattress on our bed was memory foam, which was comfortable to lie on but tends to overheat me - check if it bothers you. I wasn't  totally convinced by the shower head being fixed to the wall high up - take your shower cap if you don't want wet hair, and be prepared to take a bath instead if you want thorough ablutions below the waist. NB there isn't a grab rail in the bathroom we had, so getting in and out of the shower/generously deep bath could be a little  tricky.

Our room and bathroom were nice and spacious, and the wifi worked properly, with enough sockets for recharging gadgets, and a well stocked hospitality tray. Our needs were very well catered for overall, and we'd be happy to visit again.

Welcoming hosts and convenient location

Stayed here for three nights with my sister, had two separate rooms.. Both comfortable & very clean.. Nat & Helen excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble, very friendly.. Breakfast flexible and good quality.
Near to all of the main sites in Salisbury..
Highly recommend staying here.


Short Break

Located about 15 minutes' walk from the Cathedral and the city centre (a walk along the River Avon that cuts through the city park is recommended), this B&B offers a good service. Helen is very friendly, parking is available free of charge on site. Our room (n5) is reached a little strenuously by climbing a steep staircase, but it's pretty and nice, mansioned and with a skylight.

discrete B&B

We decided to go to the B&B due to the good reviews and the convenient location for our trip to Stonehendge. Unfortunately, our boat did not understand the address and we were completely lost at first. But Helen kindly and quickly led us to the hotel by phone. The reception was just as nice. She provided us with everything we needed to know about the Salisbury roof and covered us with a map and very good recommendations for the city and restaurants. Our room was right under the roof, very nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The staircase, like the old buildings, is made of stained glass so early that it is a great way to sleep, even if you do not have to walk around the city. Everything was very relaxed, but we could hear it from the window, and everything was relaxed with the flowers.

Wonderful B&B

Location: Near the northern exit road. Salisbury Market Square is within 20 minutes walking distance. Reception: very friendly. Immediately all important information about the accommodation and location was communicated, with recommendations for restaurants, etc. Rooms: not too large; normal double bed. To the upstairs room the suitcases must be carried by themselves (no elevator). Quiet despite the close proximity of the main street, this is audible. Everything very clean. Room equipment: very good mattresses. Available: flatbed, water boiler, etc. Available: non-hands: miniature, luggage storage. Bathroom: toilet seat (40 cm) Easy to carry (no elevator). Easy to hear despite the close proximity of the main street. Everything very clean. Room facilities: very good mattresses. Available: miniature, non-handspaced, non-loaded: toilet seat (40 cm) Easy to use. Location: parking lot: no small parking spaces.

Ideal location to visit Stonehenge

B&B delicious. The hostess is very kind and attentive to guests. The rooms, although small, are very beautiful and properly furnished. The cleanliness is total well above English standards. Good breakfast, served on the basis of the selection to be made on a leaflet delivered to the guests upon arrival. To some it may seem strange, to me it seemed very intelligent: attention to waste, and therefore containment costs, and above all customer-focused service.
