Dyke Farm Barn | By Huluki Sussex Stays

Being from the very north of England and getting on, we now require overnight stays on the south coast before continuing our regular journeys into France. We originally booked a travellers hotel in the port but when we later came across this BnB we cancelled and booked this instead. So confident in the reviews we also booked a few nights on the return journey. Our plans were unfortunately blown apart 2 days before setting off and we had to make adjustments to our booking this was done amicably without a problem. The Band B was as expected was excellent, we had two different rooms on our stays and both were immaculately clean, comfortable and perfect for out needs. Special mention for the bathroom and walk in shower, an important feature for us. Breakfast was very well cooked and tried the 'full english', meaning we did not eat again until that evening! We slept for over 8 hours the first night and subsequent nights (we live in a busy suburb and found the quiet to be a joy)). Mike and Sue are great hosts and will always have a chat or advice where needed. The BnB is literally on the doorstep of the South Downs Way and no doubt attracts many one nighters but it is a waste to only stay one night. We used it as a base for walking (climbed Devils Dyke behind, great views) and sightseeing along the south coast. It feels like you are deep in the countryide but within 10 mins there are great road links in all directions. Great pub in the village and in nearby Fulkin (recommended). Will definitely book again for our next journey.
