The whole family stayed at Riverbank House, Riverside Retreat, all I can say is AMAZING HOUSE. They have thought of everything, all you need is your food and drink. There is even a menu for meal to be brought to you, if you fancy a night off. The men loved the BBQ house. There is three different areas in the house to suit three families for sleeping or more. There is a games room, large garden. Brilliant.

We’ve just come home after our 4th stay at River Valley & again had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay.
It’s the most beautiful, tranquil site with lovely walks by the river surrounded by wildlife. 
Staff very warm & friendly & lodges we’ve stayed in have all been clean, comfortable & well-equipped. Fabulous hot tub to relax in after a day out.
Well located to local beaches & activities.
Would definately recommend staying here!

We spent a wonderful fortnight at Rose Cottage which was a perfect base for our project of walking the South West Coastal Path. The cottage was brilliantly equipped and very spacious. The highlight for us was the outdoor kitchen with fantastic views over the countryside, BBQ and hot tub to relax in after a day’s hiking. The garden is massive but safe for dogs and there was a fire-pit which we didn’t get time to use in the end. We’re looking forward to our return trip in May!

Just returned from a relaxing and peaceful 4 night stay in Larch Lodge Plus. The park is beautiful, well maintained and peaceful. The Lodge was amazing, comfortable beds, everything you need was provided and the Bluetooth speakers in the ceiling was an unexpected delight! Great hot tub too! Definitely will return!

We (11 + 2 dogs) stayed in the Riverside Retreat (Cabin), which is an amazing house with an extensive, well-maintained garden ... great for our grandsons and the dogs. 
More than adequate room for our big family, with plenty well=appointed bedrooms with en-suite for most of them.
Beds very comfortable.
Splendid games room, with pool table and video-games available
Large kitchen-dining area more than coped with our size of group.
Very clean, and well-maintained.
Huge gas-fired barbecue in the garden, with a hot tub (with TV in the hut housing this). Garden room with a coal firepit in the centre, with pleanty warm blankets for cold evenings.

Altogether a brilliant place to stay ... I couldn't recommend it more!

We stayed at the riverbank house for four nights last week and I couldn’t have possibly loved it any more. Every detail was thought out, the place was beautiful and it felt so homely. I never wanted to leave and I can’t wait to go back again! Brilliant price and excellent amenities too

Very nice country park near to marazion and penzance.set in tranquil grounds dog friendly and lots of walking places for dog and also a great massive field to let them run wild and burn out their energy
Lodges are stunning with full fitted kitchen and a huge veranda.Had a great stay here.

Beautiful stunning park offering total peace and tranquility you can hear nothing but the bird’s singing and the river flowing total relaxation. We stayed in a lodge owned by a lovely lady called Pam it was spotless clean on arrival with a lovely welcome gift pack of homemade jams scones clotted cream cakes biscuits and milk in fridge  as well as other little extras. We were directly in front of the riverbank lots of wildlife  live here as well as the passers by. It’s a haven and very well kept I would definitely recommend and will return.

Stayed in the larch lodge plus absolutely beautiful, clean, lovely site only extremely quiet no club house or anything for families children can’t play ball games or anything around site 😅 we were out all day exploring Cornwall so only back at the lodge for a few hours ever day had a lovey week 

excellent site ,quite, very clean,  relaxing and gorgeous surroundings , easy to visit surrounding areas , Penzance, Marazion  which is are practically on  your doorstep, also The lizard and Lands End plus loads more lovely places to enjoy

Brilliant accommodation and garden

River valley country park Penzance

The cabin and location were lovely and the cabin was clean. The hot tub was a lovely addition to the cabin and much used. The disappointment was the very poor WiFi with connection only achievable from the top of the dog walking hill! We had been warned it was ‘variable’ but this was much more than that. Other slight gripe was I don’t think the website made it very clear dogs could not be left unaccompanied in the chalets. This seriously curtailed our week and enjoyment of the area - however understand this was our fault for not reading the small print before booking 

Nice cabin. Lovely location. Poor internet connection. 

We have visited River Valley many times and it is always a peaceful and beautiful place. This year we were in a newer style lodge which was lovely and beautifully decorated however it didn’t seem to have the same floor space as the old style lodges which are now being removed. Kitchen/ eating area in particular was very cramped. However we did love the large en-suite master bedroom. We definitely got the impression that the site is moving away from having rental guests and more towards owners only which is sad and probably means we won’t be back. 

Lovely as always. 

Arrived at River Valley Country Park earlier than anticipated.  Thankfully we were able to check into our lodge early.  We stayed in the Larch Lodge plus for six nights.  The lodge was fabulous.  There was plenty of space and everything was very clean.
We made use of the hot tub most days, it was the perfect way to end the day.  We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Country Park

I've been visiting River Valley on and off since 2005. How can I sum up my experience in one word? Kindness. Neal and Bernadette's kindness is genuine. Not manufactured, contrived, or falsified but the real article. Genuine warmth, hospitality and kindness. An atmosphere of informality, yet quiet efficiency. A family tradition, which is embraced by their son and daughter and the other members of staff. I can say no more except to say a heartfelt thank you from my family and myself.
