Me and my fiancee stayed here on a Saturday night and we couldn't of been happier. The room was a lovely little place, clean, comfortable and Margaret was friendly and sanitized everything we had to touch like the keys which we thought was great. Will definitely book this place again

We had a wonderful 2 nights at this excellent family-run guest house. They were very welcoming and the room was lovely. They do a lot with a small space. The shower was amazing. Great location too. Easy walk to anywhere in town. 

Had a lovely 2 nights stay here the guy who owned it was very nice &  helpfully the rooms where lovely & clean we had a family room and was idea for 3 of us. Defo be back soon. As oban is our favourite place in Scotland. 

Nice and clean room, and separate bathroom was fine. They put me in a double room in the next door house which has a different name, I can't remember it now, but for a cheap overnight stay it was perfectly decent. Would happily book again.

We had a room on the ground floor. Small and dark. Loud due to party noise. The breakfast consists of poor quality stuff that was presented in roughly unpacked wrappings. The host was not really friendly and truthful. I wouldn't go here again.

Be very careful giving these people your credit details.We agreed on a price and then I found they had overcharged, and the manager tells me bad luck???? Very average accomodation for the price and a manager with sticky fingers ,you have been earned. 

I booked the single budget room for 2 nights. I can do basic and budget but this was beyond awful. The room had a terrible stench. I arrived late the first night and owners left after checking me in and were not on the property for me to complain. I had an early start so left and took everything out of the room it felt dirty. The bed was small with a  creaky old mattress. I complained about the stench and the damp carpet. Owner blamed it on the air freshener and carpet shampoo. I left the room door open that evening to air it but when I came back the stink was out the hall and down the stairs. I gave up and slept in the car that night. The owner will say anything to avoid taking responsibility and I was told I was rude for complaining. I reported this room to environmental health. It should not be rented out until the stench, mould and damp is taken care of.

DO NOT BOOK BUDGET SINGLE ROOM - Health Hazard

Stayed here as a stop gap en route to the Isle of Coll 
Charged £120 for two family rooms and £75 for two double rooms which was extortionate
The rooms were poor. Frayed towels, Poorly decorated even painted round the laminate signs
Not particularly clean either
Breakfast was supplied in a TESCO carrier bag which consisted of eight croissants bananas and yoghurt for twelve guests 
Shower was so tiny one could hardly turn round 
Just how they can justify such high prices is beyond me 
Avoid if you can 
Will book into Premier Inn in future
