Lovely little place. Photos don’t do it justice. It’s all been done up since pictures. Lovely breakfast and a great couple. Couldn’t do enough for you. Excellent place

Check in was flawless and quick.  We were asked to choose our breakfast for the next morning and a time. I think this is a great process as it prevents waste. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. It was ready very quickly  and cooked to perfection. Very spacious lounge available for guests. Room was very good. Great shower with plenty of hot water. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts were very  friendly and helpful. We stayed  for one night before a ferry to Ireland.  We would definitely stay again and for a few days.

Friendly and welcoming on arrival. The room was quiet, clean and cosy with a spacious bathroom.  The breakfast was great. We highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The people were very helpful and always very pleasant. The hotel was very clean and it altogether was excellent .

A friendly welcome. A lovely hotel in a scenic setting. A large room with great facilities for 2 of us and our dog. Fabulous breakfast made to order. Only 40 minutes from the Irish ferry in Fishguard. Highly recommended.

Overnight stay . Lovely welcome , convenient to park and breakfast , made to order, was lovely too. The room- dated but everything there Garden area nice - sunny was a bonusDownsides- beautiful  stocked bar area but not accessible after 9, even as a resident! Just wanted a glass of red on getting back but not available as the bar closed. Totally understand if that’s the rule but wish I’d known before hand.Service was faultless apart from that .

1 night stay

This is an older property on the edge of town.  Not  luxurious but very comfortable.  The owner is very helpful and friendly.  The food and service was good.  They have a restaurant on site where you pick your food and then cook it yourself at your table on a hot lava rock. It was excellent. Had a restful recovery after a long drive. Sitting area and bar were nice.

Friendly, comfortable stay

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean although the room was not cleaned in our 4 night stay. Some antiseptic wipes in the room could be a good idea for self cleaning of bathroom, toilet and crockery etc. The breakfast was tasty  but was a choice of either continental or English. If you wanted cereal or yoghurt you could not then have any cooked items. The restaurant and bar was only open Thursday to Sunday but luckily there  was another guest house/ bar a short walk up the road called 7 stars which we used during our stay.

Good digs but......

We stayed for 2 nights in August and had a lovely time at Flambards B&B and Tea Room. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was fresh, locally sourced and delicious and the room was comfortable with plenty of space for a family of 4 with 2 small children (age 7 & 5). Highly recommend and would definitely come again!

Friendly, welcoming and delicious food!

Our host could not have made our family of four feel more welcome. Very comfortable bed, great and prompt breakfast. Massive portions, when we stayed for our evening meal. Lovely sunny/shaded outdoor spot for socially distanced responsible dining. Felt attended to but never crowded. Relaxing amble by the river afterwards which was within walking fustsnce. Top marks on value - highly recommended.

Stayed in the area looking at properties made for a great base.Really great hosts good breakfast kept me going for most of the day.I don’t normally eat cakes etc but tried the scones and jam, these were the best and lightest scones I’ve ever had very tempted to take some home. Thought of the inches so didn’t .

House hunting

This was an unexpected delight, made so much better by our hosts who clearly understand the hospitality business.  Although this hotel is a little off the beaten track, it is so much better for the peace and quiet.  Although, there is no facility for evening meals within the hotel, a short walk can take you to the village pub which caters on most evenings.

First Class Hospitality at a Good Price

The staff at Flammbards were fantastic. The breakfasts were wonderful and the room was lovely. We went with our two children who loved spending time with Mia the hotel dog. Our whole stay was warm and welcoming and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. I couldn't recommend Flammbards enough. We will definitely be back!

Nice little get away

This is a wonderful place. The only problems were 1) We could not get our room door to lock, even after two lessons from the proprietor. You didn’t lock it with your key. You pushed a button and then closed the door and it was supposed to lock. It didn’t work.2) Our shower leaked to downstairs and we don’t understand what we did to cause it. We were reluctant to use the shower at all after that happened.Nice place, though
