I’ll start with the Pros (and the ‘not so’ Cons) The host, Vicki – Absolutely lovely, helpful, and incredibly approachable. She went out of her way to share tips with us, including some valuable university advice for my daughter. Jet, the dog – The cherry on top, Jet is Vicki’s beautiful, well-behaved dog. Such a sweet and calm presence – we genuinely looked forward to seeing her every day. The rooms – Spotlessly clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom was especially high standard – modern and luxurious. Service and breakfast – Truly luxury-level.So many breakfast options and everything was done to a high standard. Location – A lovely setting, close to Windermere Lake, local shops, and great restaurants. Perfect base to explore the area. Cons (Take these with a pinch of salt!) The road outside can be a bit busy at times, but it’s not at all disturbing. Just something to be aware of – didn’t affect our stay in the slightest. Overall: I would highly recommend this place and would definitely visit again. We were lucky to get a room. A warm, welcoming stay with a touch of luxury and a very charming dog (who we miss :) )
