22 Mill Street

We were looking for an intimate venue for our wedding, when we came across 22mill st. Once we decided our big day would be held there, we sampled the menu several times before our wedding day and each time the food was fabulous. Despite a change in management during our wedding plans we were overjoyed that our new maitre de was the wonderful Hervee. He went out of his way to make sure our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be. The whole restaurant was transformed to a beautiful wedding venue. (the internet pictures dont do it justice- visit and you will see) There were 15 in our wedding party, which did not feel too small in the intimate setting of 22mill st. The contemporary setting is exactly what I was looking for in a venue so I really could not have been happier. We occupied both the rooms and they were very clean and had everything you could want for a hotel stay. Not that I needed the TV on my wedding night but there was no reception when I did try the night before the wedding, so maybe a freeview box? I am nit picking now, there is nothing I would change about my big day and if you are looking for a small wedding ( I think 22millst can go up to 22 or 25?) you will not be disappointed here. Our youngest daughter was also catered for, being only 3, a child friendly menu was created for her. Parking can be a worry but there are car parks nearby and chagford is a lovely little village so make sure you explore the lovely little shops and galleries.
