Spent a long weekend here recently. Very comfortable accommodation with a nice view of the countryside. Friendly staff. Great selection of meals at a reasonable price and generous helpings. Always got a parking space. Bus stop right outside to travel to Lincoln and avoid city centre parking was a very reliable service. Was a real home from home. Couldn't fault it. Happy to return anytime. Thanks for your hospitality,  a happy experience and a  memorable weekend.

My gf and I stayed December 16 to 17 2022 and had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning. The staff were friendly, down to earth, helpful and very welcoming. Overnight accommodation  is motel style, with smart, comfortable and immaculately clean cabins just twenty yards across the car park from the pub. On a freezing winter's night (seriously below freezing outside) we were as warm as toast. All the details were lovely in the bedroom, and included LOTS OF MILK to make tea/coffee (something that often runs out, as I am sure you know! Access to WIFI and operation of TV were both really simple. As ever(!) the shower controls took some working out - it's the same everywhere! Portions at our breakfast and our evening meals the night before were very generous (most welcome) and the food was really good and presented quickly and on beautiful crockery. The price point for our stay was excellent (£70 for a double room including breakfast). The car park is large. I thoroughly recommend the Fox and Hounds and I definitely plan to return, should I have any reason to be in this beautiful part of England

First visit and definitely won’t be the last. Amazingly extensive pub menu and very reasonably priced! Decor pleasant enough, but don’t be expecting some fancy gastro pub or you’ll be disappointed.  Went with a friend and after our meal we were asked if we’d like to join their weekly pub quiz ( every Friday, we didn’t know that before we arrived) , no cost and it was such fun. Really friendly staff, especially the quiz master! Quick service too. We’ll be back!

Stayed for 2 nights and used as a base for a weekend in Lincolnshire on our motorbikes. Rooms were clean and comfortable albeit a little small, but fine for our stay. Breakfast was great. Evening "pub meals" were all great. Super choice and not shy at all with portions. We will be back. Thank you. 

Brilliant! Every plate of food was cooked to perfection! What greater compliment could you possibly give. Just some advice do t eat before you go as all servings are huge! And don’t plan on having a big tea if you go for lunch as a I like my food and have a big appetite and I couldn’t finish it and wasn’t hungry later

Called for a steak and it was lovely 18 ounce rib eye cooked perfect visited a few times now and food is superb and very reasonably priced homemade horseradish was lush friend had the mixed seafood which was also perfect will definitely carry on using this one 

A lovely country inn with pleasant staff and good value for money food. This pub is local to us and so we visit regularly at weekends. Very well known and well attended establishment so booking is recommended. Sunday roast is fab value on the pocket.

Wow what a find, Be assured folks this is no run of the mill country pub!. we arrived 4pm on a sunday  expecting to be alone in a quiet bar but no! it was full of people eating what looked like really tasty food. that in my books is a good sign! checked in to one of 9 purpose brick built little chalet type rooms behind the pub. nice and comfy, fresh and clean with soft bed and an en suite shower wifi was a bit weak out there but fine in the main building. £70.00 for the 2 of us with breakfast, very competative. 
The main menu is tempting and well though out plus they had a great specials board with 20+ additional & interesting (including vegi +vegan) items on, we were literally struggling to chose!. Our meal was top notch, well cooked quality food obviously prepared by skilled chefs who can do traditional with a twist and more exotic items with aplomb, and it was really well priced. Staff were properly friendly and helpful. 
We had a good quiet nights sleep and then one of the best english breakfasts ive had for ages. Just like the evening food this was quality ingredients, lovely bacon and proper sausage and honestly it was cooked to perfection, i couldn't have done it better myself and i'm picky!. For £70.00 folks this was a great experience. The rooms all booked and the dining room and bar full all day speaks volumes!, yes the rooms are not huge and the furniture etc is ikea but pay more if you want the Ritz!
 We will definitely go again and recommend it without hesitation

Just come back from a two night stay here,the family room ,was spacious and warm, with a lovely view of the ducks and horses,
The bathroom was very clean,
We were here to visit lots of family in the area,so didnt get chance to sample,the food, hopefully we,ll get chance next time,
plenty of tea and coffee in the room,for when we arrived,
The staff that we met,were lovely and friendly.the bed was very comfortable,
We just dropped a point,as we prefer a king size quilt on a double bed, but thats our personal preference,stops one person not getting any quilt,:)

Called on the off chance on a busy lunchtime service but they could not have been more accommodating in finding us a table for 2 .We had main courses which included 1 x sirloin steak which was delicious- I always find it a bit hit and miss with steaks but this was very tasty and melted in the mouth. All home cooked chips and with fresh veg. Portion size very good in fact I struggled to finish even though it was tasty so think I would go for the light bite next time- same meal but slightly smaller. Staff very nice and  welcoming giving good service throughout our stay. Everything was very reasonably priced. This was our second visit and we would certainly call in again when in the area.
