We had a lovely couple of nights at Town Mills, a very comfortable room and with really lovely hosts. Highly recommend

Wonderful stay, our whole party (8) had a wonderful weekend, Charles & Alison were marvellous

Town Mills is the perfect B&B. Comfortable, spacious, efficiently run by charming hosts; quiet and centrally located in a pretty setting close to all Dulverton’s amenities and surrounded by walks. Light airy room, Delicious breakfast.

We stayed for a 3 nights short break. The accommodation was excellent with everything that we required. The location and setting is perfect and there is a lovely garden leading to the car park all very convenient. Charles the proprietor could not do enough to make our stay perfect. nothing was too much trouble.  He was so helpful even booking the restaurants for our evening meals. He upgraded our room to the downstairs suite as my husband can not manage stairs. The Breakfast was lovely with a good choice and warm friendly atmosphere.   We will definitely stay again next year. Thank You Charles and Allison.

What an amazing place to return to for my birthday. We last stayed here 25 years ago and it was just as good. Charles was the perfect host, going over and above to look after us. Little touches like the choices for breakfast, the white port in the room as a welcome drink, and so much more. Thank you so much Charles, we will be back.

Charles and Allison are excellent hosts and run a perfect B&B. Rooms are clean and spacious with tea&coffee and even sherry provided. Breakfasts are cooked to order and use local produce that is cooked extremely well. We have no hesitation in recomending them.

Stayed for one night on a business trip. Very welcoming hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Room very comfortable with everything you need for the stay. Plentiful tea/coffee. Freshly cooked breakfast which was lovely. Car parking available which is very helpful. Beautiful location

Owner was lovely and very helpful, accommodation was beautiful,and spotlessly clean, overlooked lovely garden, sofa under window, comfy bed and good shower, lots of little touches, white port, sparkling water and plenty of tea coffee and milk. Breakfast was superb, hopefully we will return. Evening meal at nearby pub, we hadn’t booked but were offered a late table which suited us.

Excellent short break. The location was ideal.The owners were very pleasant & helpful.The proprietor  Charles booked us a table at a restaurant at very short notice for our wedding anniversary. Everywhere was fully booked but he used his contacts , and we cannot thank him enough.Would highly recommend..

Just as good 25 years on

Beautiful B&B in a Lovely place. We were warmly welcomed by Charles Crisp after a long cyclingday and  shown to our room. Beautiful view & tastefully decorated. Received a good dinneradvice,  various options werd closed at Sundays. Next morning we received a fresh cooked breakfast that tasted good. 
 All in all a fine experience that we hope many will share

Wonderful stay

Very enjoyable short break.

We stayed in the lovely ground floor suite with its own access to the garden. Often the only sound was the water running in the mill stream which flows between the buildings and the accessible car park (there is a bridge). We spent seven nights there and very much enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious and Charles and Allison made us feel extremely welcome. The complimentary white port was very much appreciated also!

Beautiful, quiet and friendly.

This was our 4th Visit to Town Mills.. Charles and Allison are perfect hosts, they always have a smile and time for a chat and we always feel very comfortable staying with them. Breakfast is always wonderful and freshly cooked with a great choice of locally produced food.  All the rooms are large airy and bright.  Its tucked away down the high St so its very easy to walk to the pub for dinner or at Woods a very nice restaurant too.  Lots of places to visit locally to keep you entertained.   Cant recommend Town Mills enough, a little gem.

Perfect  quiet B&B in  a great location

What a fabulous hotel located in the picturesque little town of Dulverton. What the town lacks in size it makes up for in character and beauty. 

The room was pristine and everything worked perfectly. I cannot thank Alison and Charles enough for their friendliness and warmth (and full English breakfasts in the morning too of course!). Every need was catered for and we will, no doubt, be returning to this wonderful place. Their dog Rufus must also get a special mention for providing us with continued cuddles and creature comforts!

All the very best and we can’t wait to see you again soon!

What a wonderful place - 10/10 would recommend and stay again!

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights whilst we completed a sponsored challenge locally. Charles and Alison are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. They were very accommodating with check in times etc and communication with them was a pleasure.
We had a lovely twin room with everything we could need.
Dulverton itself is such a pretty place to stay, with lovely walks along the river and some very nice little shops.
We would definitely recommend Town Mills if you are visiting locally

Fabulous place

My partner and I enjoyed a pleasant relaxed stay here. The hosts were warm and friendly and would do anything for their residents. The b&b oozes character. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is tucked away off the main road next to a stream so very peaceful. The atmosphere inside was cosy and charming. Lovely music being played at breakfast made for a relaxed informal breakfast. Their lovely dog was very cute,  so chilled well behaved. The rooms were comfy and clean snd extra touches in the room like sparkling water, hot chocolate, and the most splendid white port were nice. The location is very central, you may have to use a public car park if you’re not fortunate enough to get a free space on the street. But we got lucky there! A lovely pub is a mere stones throw away doing great food, and an excellent Thai restaurant down the road meant there is always somewhere to eat in walking distance. All in all, a great place to stay in an excellent location to explore exmoor and Somerset.
