I stayed at Norgate at the end of a weeks walk on the Hadrian's Wall Trail. The room was clean and comfortable, clean and quiet. There is a short walk to reach the centre of Corbridge where there are a number of pubs, restaurants and shops. Both hosts were friendly and helpful, to say the least. There was parking outside of the Norgate and I would definately stay here again in the future.

We stayed here as part of our walk across Hadrian's Wall. While it is not on the path, it is a short taxi ride from it. The hosts were amazingly friendly and welcoming. Room was simple but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed at Norgate on a cold and very wet October night. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and shown to our very comfortable room and bathroom which were absolutely immaculate. After a very comfortable night we were provided with a beautiful breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Norgate again. Thank you do much for a lovely stay!

Stayed here for one night when we were touring Northern England. Really wonderful  hosts . We arrived late evening   and were quite hungry . Our hosts recommended  the Black Bull restaurant  which was just perfect. Our bedroom was spacious  and ensuite were spotless. Really good breakfast.  Would recommend   for a perfect stay. 

We only stayed for one night on a walking tour of Hadrians Wall. The outside of the building is neat and tidy but not glamorous, however, the welcome we received and the facilities were absolutely perfect. The hosts were lovely, the bedrooms, small but with everything we could need. Breakfast was great. Good location together with much needed parking.

We received a warm welcome from Peter and his adorable granddaughter.
He gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner at The Angel Inn.
The room was cosy and immaculately clean with everything we needed.
Breakfast was perfectly cooked.
And I had a lovely chat with Peter before I left to catch up with the rest of the party.
Peter and Fiona are brilliant BnB hosts.

We stayed at Norgate B&B for two nights giving us plenty of time to explore the village and nearby Hadrian's Wall . A very well set up B&B with welcoming, friendly hosts. It is positioned on the main road into town however traffic noise was not an issue overnight. Easy walk into the village to find somewhere for dinner.

The room was comfortable, and the off-street parking was nice. What really made this place shine is the hosts! We talked to them for a long time at breakfast and they gave us a lot of good ideas about which Roman sites to visit and how long to plan for driving. Seems like they really know the area!

Our visit to Norgate was for the first overnight stay during a short walk along Hadrian’s Wall. We were made very welcome. The house was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent in a room displaying original paintings.

Great B&B 

My parents and husband and I stayed at Norgate at the start of a Hadrian's Wall walk tour. The B&B is in a suburban home converted partially into guest rooms. The interior was very clean and well-appointed. We found our room somewhat stuffy in the August weather, but the same is true of most places in Europe during the summer. Hosts were very friendly and prepared good breakfast and to-go lunch. The B&B was easy walking distance from the center of Corbridge, and about a 3 mile walk or drive to the start of the Hadrian's Wall trail. Would recommend.

I spent a night at the end of my Hadrian’s Wall walk in Corbridge, and was really pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful B&B. Peter is a very attentive host who puts a lot of care into just about everything. The room is tastefully and thoughtfully arranged all down to the details. The amenities in the room is also of really nice quality. The breakfast was amazingly tasty and with fresh ingredients. There are also beautiful paintings throughout, done by Peter. It really is a perfect stay! Thank you very much Peter!
