Love it room was clean comfortable staff was lovely they even check what time you planning on booking n ahead so they are available beds comfortable there's no tvs but that didn't really matter was really nice has wi fi and password made clearly visible

Just stayed at the osprey and although it could do with a little update on the towel and Bedding the manager Aaron was so helpful he went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was very knowledgeable on the area and told us some nice places to go. Thankyou Aaron you made out stay very pleasurable. 

Absolutely loved my visit to the osprey last week. Chris was the perfect host, greeted me by name when I arrived and always had a smile. My room was the small cosy single room, the bathroom was surprisingly bigger than I thought it would be and the shower was a good size. Slept like a log every night and will definitely be back again soon 😊

I stayed here since a friend recommended it; I was there for an exhibition, and it was wonderful. The hotel's location was great, and the friendliness was top-notch above the norm. I must absolutely suggest them to everyone.

Lovely family run B and B in a perfect location. Food was beautiful and the owners were so courteous and kind. Very much recommend this place. Slept like a log. Christine couldn’t do enough for us, we all felt very welcomed.

It’s Blackpool innit ! I’ve yet to find luxury or rooms of any size in Blackpool and The Osprey isn’t any different. This said, it was fine. Clean enough, a bit worn in areas but really cheap so what do you expect. The owner called by to say hello when we checked in and she was lovely. The rest of the staff were very helpful, frequently asking if anything needed. You get what you pay for and as it was only a bed to sleep it was fine.

We had a great stay at The Osprey for a last minute night away to see the illuminations. We had a family room with ensuite which was fine for just one night as somewhere to sleep but if you spend a lot of time in your room and your kids are older I'd advise booking 2 rooms.

Breakfast included in the price was a complete steal compared to other guest houses and B&B's. Although the decor and some fittings are a little dated you can see where they've spruced up the areas they can, and you can't moan for the price! The only reason I've given 4 stars and not 5 is there was a bit of a dog smell as you walked in which is quite noticeable to non dog owners, I think its in the carpet downstairs as you cant smell it upstairs. 

Stayed here for two nights with my husband . The price reflects the condition of the building ,fixtures and fittings . We arrived on Tuesday afternoon and were greeted warmly , the room was spotless and comfortable.  The place does need a complete overhaul but at the prices they charge i don't think anyone could complain . We didn't opt for breakfast as we usually don't eat it so can't comment on it . Location is fantastic , 5 minutes walk from the promenade , town centre and tower . There's a pay and display car park opposite which cost us £14 for the duration . Overall this place is quiet , friendly and respectable and we would stay again if we were in that area . The family that run it have only been there a few months . The family were lovely , friendly and polite and we wish them every success in the future .

It may not have a TV but the location was good near north pier with lots of food options nearby. Overall an average experience for me.

Horrible stay. I do not recommend staying here. Over 3 bed bugs found within first 3 hours of checking in with photo and video evidence. Left after finding bed bugs as I would hate to know what would of happened if i stayed in this room. No heating, floor had crumbs not cleaned properly, mould, leaking in bathroom, no TV, no wifi, door would not shut properly so had to slam it for it to shut. The housekeeper as he referred him to said he couldn’t place us in another room, no refund offered and has now blocked all my numbers after asking for the managers number! Disgusting place to stay, very scruffy place. Do not waste your money

If I could give this zero stars then I would.  I always agree you get for what you pay for. Things like decor or ware and tare don't bother me in the slightest but this hotel was filthy🤢. I'm just gutted I didn't read the reviews before hand. Took my family here and was so embarrassed when I entered. Once place I'd never stay again!!

Worse experience ever🤢

What a worse hotel this is. 
Came to stay for one night before our hotel was available and it was a horrible stay. The towels were wet, the bed was uncomfortable.
The bathroom was dirty, there was no water pressure for the sink to use.
The shower was mouldy and dirty.
The room just felt “dirty” and not clean.
There was only 2 cups for 4 of us.

We heard EVERYTHING from the room next to us, who were up ALL night shouting, swearing, playing music, having sex etc which was awful for us with small children. 

Owners basically just threw up our key and didn’t bother to help with getting to our room with our bags.

Will never visit again.
