We were looking for a base to explore Loch Lomond and found this wonderful place. 

Not right on the banks of Loch Lomond, but very near and you can see the Loch even from downstairs.

The bed was incredibly comfortable which made us decide we had to change our mattress at home

Perfect spot to explore the area and Jeff and Bridie were wonderful hosts in that they were available whenever we had questions or needed something but were never intrusive 

We liked the automatic gate, felt secure

One week stay and absolutely fantastic Lodge. Beautiful lodge, every amenity and gorgeous throughout with beautiful big bath. Stunning location on bottom of Loch Lomond and views from lodge are stunning. One of the best places we have stayed and would very highly recommend. Ultra clean, all Covid protocols adhered too and the hosts are on hand for information. Duck Bay Marina close by (2 minutes), We didn’t want to come home and from Bruach Lodge we explored all the Loch and Luss (7 miles away, Falls of Falloch, Oban, too many to mention and just a fantastic Lodge ideally situated to relax with garden and Loch Views. I cannot praise the accommodation and surroundings enough. If you can book the Bruach Lodge you won’t be disappointed and we will definitely 100% return. 5 star and more if you could rate higher

Beautiful & Fantastic - Bruach Lodge

We had to cancel our spring trip to Scotland due to COVID-19. As seniors we are in a high risk category. We're also on a budget, so travel is a rare treat. Our airline waived change fees - which are normally quite high - so we re-scheduled for the fall. Hopefully the pandemic will have subsided by then so we can finally visit Scotland. All of our in-country reservations could be cancelled without fees except this one. I didn't notice the one-night fee (in this case, 120 GBP), even though we cancelled 3 months in advance. The owners kindly offered us a third night free if we reserved 3 nights in the fall. However, given the uncertainties of travel at this time and our age, we can't risk incurring another 120GBP fee, so I am favoring inns and hotels with more flexible cancellation policies. 
Note: This review form requires a travel date. Our travel was planned for early June; we cancelled in early March. 

Read the cancellation terms carefully - you will be charged one night for for cancellations far in advance

My daughters bought me this short break by the side of Loch Lomond for my birthday.We visited places surrounding that I haven’t been to for 30 years.
We were met by Jeff who showed us to the Lodge.
It was beautifully appointed and very comfortable for the two of us. Sky TV if the weather is poor and a great view over the Loch.Good location for exploring the area.
Would recommend.

Short break for birthday

We had a 2 night stay in late October blessed by beautiful weather. 
My only minor complaint is that there is not much signage to indicate location.
apartment was cosy, well fitted out and comfortable with lovely views over the loch. 
The owners are friendly and helpful.

We were lucky enough to have been gifted a two night stay at Bruach Lodge by our friends as s wedding gift. The lodge is stunning and is modern sheek style with all the equipment you’ll need to make food and have drinks. We were delighted to find that a little bottle of milk and some bottles of water and chocolates had been provided for us. There is a tv in the bedroom and in the main room. The bedroom is beautiful and has a gorgeous bath and the apartment has two bathrooms. The gardens are absolutely bursting with colours and so well kept. The apartment is about a 5 minute walk from a nearby restaurant (duck bay) which is brilliant too. The Cruin (a popular wedding venue) is just meters away as well. Luss is a 10 minute drive away too. Jeff and Bridie are the lovely welcoming couple who own the property and made sure our stay was just right. We would be delighted to return here one day!

Gorgeous lodge with romantic view of Loch Lomond

We were attending a wedding at duck bay hotel and needed somewhere local to stay. We couldn’t of chosen a better place. We stayed in the downstairs apartment as it was just for 2 of us and it was perfect ! We arrived after dark so didn’t fully appreciate the view until morning. The apartment itself is clean and well decorated with plenty of clean towels and toiletries provided. There is a full kitchen with fridge dishwasher and washing machine should you need one. The owners Jeff and Bridie were the perfect hosts, even providing fresh milk wine and shortbread on arrival. We ate at the duck bay hotel every evening during our 3 night stay as the food was good and it’s in walking distance. Would definitely stay again and recommend both the accommodation and the food at duck bay!

Perfect place to stay 

Thought we would try this loft apartment for New Year,  certainly not dissapointed. 
Complete self catering,full kitchen,  2 shower rooms to accommodate up to 4 people .
One large bedroom with corner bath while any other guests could  use the drop down sofa bed .
Don't even need to close the curtains as the only thing outside was a fantastic view of the loch. 
Private and secure parking just a stone's throw away from Duck Bay and 5 mins drive from Balloch and Lomond Shores centre. 
Great hospitality from the on-site hosts Jeff & Bridie.

Well worth the visit.

We stayed in the loft apartment for a long weekend at the end of August - and it's the 4th time we have stayed (I think!). It's fantastic. The apartment is clean, and so relaxing. It's a real treat coming up to stay and one we look forward to. The welcome you get is lovely, and we wouldn't change a single thing.

There is so much to do in the local area - walks, visiting Lomond Shores, we have been to Dumbarton Castle, visited the coast, there are boat rides, outdoor activities etc. There is also Sky (plus movies) in the apartment which is good for a lazy evening in! There are supermarkets relatively close (5min drive to Balloch) and all in all, a wonderful place to escape to!

Can't recommend enough! Roll on next year, we are already looong forward to it!
