We were here for a week last summer, and we had a room with a balcony, from which we had a perfect view of the Bay of Gumbet. To the beach you can walk down steep roads in less than 10 minutes, generally the surroundings are very hilly. The well-known club mile is also only 5 minutes away. So you're not far from the scene. Our room was spacious and the air conditioning worked for us for a week. The pool area was fine and generally there was a relaxed atmosphere. But unfortunately, this was already with the steep sides.

Roadhouse used t be a haven for us before. New hotellkeeper have priced the place to planet mars.... think all od customs has left the building.....to some other buildings.. So did I too. But maybee one day weall will be back

I stayed at this hotel in April for 1 week it was under new management this hotel apartment was being fully refurbished to a high standard great management team lovely friendly staff could not do enough for you me and my family will definitely be back this summer

Family holiday

Hotel was of poor standard less than 1 star, rooms were dirty sink in kitchens in rooms 109, 108 & 107 are clean now as we bought bleach and put disinfectant in the drains in the bathroom sink & shower. Cats roaming all over the place cat s**t on one of the sunbeds, these cats are starving, some of them are friendly but they all have scabby runny eyes and should either be treated or put out of their misery, how many diseases are they spreading?
This place is located at the top of a hill there is a long way round up a not too steep hill, but don't try to walk up the short route back as you will need oxygen when you get to the top, Gumbet is quite a hilly place and more of a 18-30 destination a lot of loud bars that stay open until daylight hours and a lot of nightclubs, although we went at the end of the season still quite a lot pounding out music until 3 or 4 in the morning, the Roadhouse itself wasn't much better even though the place was nearly empty the bar lads and the manager still played the music loud, and this went on until 7 in the morning on one occasion. Avoid this hotel like the plague if you want a peaceful quiet holiday. No hot water Lukewarm showers and you have to run at five in the afternoon if you want one as there is no lukewarm water left by 6.

Plenty of nice restaurants in Gumbet, lovely meals at the Windmill, the Columbia and real chips at the Divers, not the awful frozen that every other place serve you with.
Use Ozzy boat tours from Bitez best boat trip with him and food and drink included in the price. Go to Yummy's or Ricks for a roast beef Sunday dinner when start to miss English food

For staters this hotel doesn’t even deserve a rating. 
I have no words for how disgusting this hotel was. The pictures speak for themselves 

Only positive was that the staff were nice and said they would fix the problems yet nothing happened. 

In inhabitable 

Rooms were dirty on arrival and despite trying ourselves not much better on our departure as there was nothing supplied to do it this was hardly surprising we actually went out and bought a floor brush as fed up walking in rubbish and we were constantly using bleach in the shower cubicle. Never had a hot shower all the time we were there Luke warm a couple of days but never before 17 00 hrs and on several nights we were unable to sleep because of the manager playing very very loud music in bar area till the early hours we have been going to Turkey for years and have stayed in lots of basic apartments but never in anything like this place
