3 reviewsMr. Choui is a charismatic camp owner who is always around, helpful and funny! He rebuilt his camp after the 2004 tsunami, its now bigger, but does not have more people, so you will surely enjoy a private beach all to your self! The huts are very basic and be aware there is no hot shower, it depends on the weather i assume. The hut door does not have a lock, so bring your own, but honestly It could just as well stay open, its very safe. The electricity socket in our hut did not work and we had to charge anything at the restaurant, which was not that comfortable. The camp has many birds and animals around, friendly and domesticated. Chicken fly around on the restaurant ceiling and the calm human-loving Ma (the deer) roams around freely during daylight! Since the camp now was more huts, but no more staff the restaurant kitchen might take more time to serve it's quests. but place your order early and take a book or a game to spend time as you wait. The beach is 200m walk from the camp site and it really is your dream paradise beach with coconut trees, white sand, blue sea and scenic views. For 300 baht per day you can also rent a kayak to get to the rocky islands in the distance (just a 10 minute paddle from the beach) or a motorbike to go explore the other villages on the tiny island. I do reccommend Mr. Choui's camp, they are a lovely family and a lovely camp!
