We booked that hotel because it was one of the few accommodations in our price range that have a gym. The gym itself is rather meagre - 1 treadmill and a collection of far too massive dumbbells (starting with 6kg, then 10kg, then 15kg and upwards..) - but it’s alright for one workout. The breakfast however really blew our minds! They had cute little cakes, even ice cream! The buffet had tons of local (warm) foods as well, and different kinds of bread, even peanut butter and dark chocolate spread. My highlight: they had Monin’s Vanilla syrup to put in your coffee - which hotel offers a Vanilla latte for breakfast?! Just great! The rooms were modern, clean and had comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and check-in/check-out went smooth. If I’m in Tainan again, here’s where I’d lay my head.
