Les Soldanelles

We were well received, overall quite charming and it suited our needs well, but too many demands on shared wc and shower were a bit uncomfortable at times. It also led to a disorientated nighttime loo visitor losing his way back and into our room in an unclothed state (our fault for not locking our door, but it was rather disarming to say the least! ) Typical wooden chalet style so very dark, but the views were lovely and a small (shared) balcony with a couple of chairs was very welcome to wake up to in the morning sun. Breakfast was very spartan and limited pretty much to bread and jam, but tea and coffee available throughout. Parking very limited and might not be available in the square nearby either. A rather tricky drive to negotiate, particularly for larger cars, but all quite manageable. The price was modest so the scoring weighted towards value for money and modest prices reflecting the limitations.
