Amazing place! Wonderful human with big heart. He asked all the time if everthing is okey. Delicious breakfast, big and nice room with lovely view. We had terrible weather and owner apologized to us all the time for this. The most loving person I have ever met I can recommend 100%!

Amazing place

We visited this place today and were very pleased. Yes, it’s not a 5-star hotel, but you won’t find a better view of the Nine Arches Bridge, that’s a fact! You’ll have both morning and night views of this wonder, plus the opportunity to visit the bridge before the tourist crowds show up to photobomb your beautiful shots.

The room itself is clean, the shower and toilet are separate, and there’s a lovely terrace with the best view.

Yes, it takes 45 minutes to walk here from the town center, and I wouldn’t recommend doing it after sunset, but the journey is definitely worth it.

For any of my friends visiting Ella, I’ll only recommend this place.

The best view for 9-arch’s

I’ve been in this place for 2 days. The owner of this place is very nice friendly guy and his family also good. They give best hospitality service also. If you want relax your mind I think this is a better place for stay. It’s situated around nine arch bridge that one of the most amazing bridge on Sri Lanka. I’m happy to see like this kind of view. So I highly recommend this place😍❤️👌

Best place to stay in Ella

Peaceful, magic view of the bridge and the stars.   Short walk down to the bridge but a long way up to the main road which was the only downer.    Food good , family great but mostly left you alone as Severi worked in town.    10/10

Away from the mad tourist crowd.

No doubt about it, it's a beautiful place surrounded by nature, just in front of the nine arch bridge, which you can see while you are having breakfast. The owner is gently and will make everything to help you during your stay.

Best place in Ella

An amazing place to stay! The owner is probably the nicest man on the planet. The location is in the mountains, which is nice because it cools down at night. Breakfast was delicious! They even did our laundry on request for an excellent price. Would definitely recommend!

Nicest family and stunning views

The guest house is in a great location to view the 9 arch bridge. Its a little while from the main town, so if you want something away from all to tourists on a budjet or have your own transport, this is ideal.The host is very sweet and does a great Srilankan breakfast. If you choose not to stay, i recommend taking a taxi ot tutuk here and having an early breakfast overlooking the bridge and wathing all the trains go by. At this tine you will not see a tourist in sight. The accommodation is basic, but its clean and comfortable with hot water.The lady who runs the guest house is really sweet and makes a real effort to make you feel welcome whilst not making you feel you owe her anything other than what is agreed. Get down there at 6am for the trains, walk down to the view points and track later. This was one of our cheaper yet better experiances in Srilanka we had. I didnt get the ladys name, but she deserves top marks!!!

Great host clean and honest budjet accomodation with a great view

This place has the best view you can dream about if you're staying in Ella. Imagine waking up, looking out of your window and seeing the nine arch Bridge.

The rooms are clean, the shower hot, the breakfast simple but pure. The fresh juice fantastic.

The owners are so so friendly. They have their own Tuk Tuk and will pick you up or bring you somewhere for half of the price the other Tuk Tuk 's will charge you.

We planned to stay 1 night, ending up spending 3 nights without regrets.

5 min walk to the bridge. (so you can actually be there before its crowded)

The family is still improving their English but the more tourists will stay with them, the better it will get ;-)

PS. Book one of the 2 family rooms if you want the view from your room. 

Most amazing view

My girlfriend and I stayed at Senavi 9 Arch homestay for 1 night. The owner is a very kind family that built this house with their own hands. They are now extending the number of rooms, bit by bit... 
The 2 rooms upstairs have a fantastic view over the 9 arch bridge. A small path leads to the bridge in 5min. The room was very clean, the breakfast was very nice (small crepes, egg with thin pancake, sweet noodles, fruits, thea...).
We highly recommend this place for the people staying at Ella and don’t want the busy noise of the city center !

Very nice people and view

A beautiful view on the bridge with a very kind hostess. We had some delicious and very inexpensive juices while waiting for the train to come by. We did not spend the night, but the rooms looked great.
