Prince and his son were great hosts, very welcoming and always there if you need to know something via text or in person. 

Super friendly with endless tea supplied! 

Helped to arrange our Pekoe trail tuk tuk ride and route easily with no hassle, and a huge breakfast provided before.

Super comfortable beds and nice bedroom with a great view :)

We had a wonderfull stay at Pigeon nest. As the chanches on rain is rather high in the afternoon in November we enjoyed the living room , good wifi en and our room with a view. In the evening sitting with open fire in the Living room ! In the morning you can have breakfast outside overlookin Nuwara Elyia. If need info for getting around speak to the owner  Great stay!

I was there for two nights at this beautiful and friendly hotel.
So the view of this hotel was amazing and the atmosphere was so so good in the living room they had chimney at night start fire it cause I feel better.
The rooms are clean 

We stayed in Deleux room with amazing view as tagged in AirBnB. Its a beautiful room with amazing views. The host Mr Price & his son Akram are very helpful! There are very few places in Nuwara with such nice views from room at such reasonable rate. Highly recommend!

Pigeons Nest is a charming little guesthouse with wonderful hospitality, great breakfast and stunning views. The owner Prince really makes you feel at home. You can enjoy the living room with the fire place or sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the incredible views.

Prince’s home is indeed a home away from home. It has some of the neatest and cleanest rooms you’ll find in Nuwara Eliya and Perhaps even Sri Lanka. Getting there is quite easy, and it is about 10 minutes away from the city center. We were well taken care of by Chaminda, who made sure we felt at home the whole time. I highly recommend booking the top floor room for four people, it is cosy, private and has a lovely view (Thank you for the kind upgrade!).

Stayed here for 2 days. Big and clean room and a hot shower. A comfortable (big) bed. During the night it cools down in nuwara eliya but they gave us extra blankets and they also put on the chimney in the living room at night. 
Breakfast was also good, they gave us the option to choose between a western and a sri lankan breakfast. 

But the best thing of this place is the guy who works there, CHAMINDA. What a great host, explained and helped us with everything. You made us feel very welcome.

The owner and staff ae super friendly and helpful. They provide you with all necessary details upon your arrival, you even get a map and upu are told whest is worth visiting in the area😊. There is a fireplace that you can sit next to in the evening, what a better way to warm yourself up with a cup of tea and a fire. The food was great, the room was squeaky clean.

Had a great stay here so much so that we extended and upgraded 2 extra days.

The level of service was extremly high.

Douglas and Chaminda went above and beyond couldn't recommend more highly.

Great stay!

Super Stay

We arrived in December. Located on higher mountain. Quiet and cold. Helpful and friendly staff. Ideal if you looked for Food and Beverage outlets of your choice  in the area prior to arrival since little options available in the hotel.
Rooms are cleaner and comfortable. Blanket in the room provide warmth as no heaters in the room.
Fire Place in the common area is really nice in the late evenings.
Overall :
value for money. 

Ideal place and time to visit. Need prior booking.

What a cosy place!

Good option if you want a bit of peace as located higher up out of town, that said everywhere was accessible by foot if not a bit hilly! We had a fab room with mezzanine and double height glass windows leading onto a balcony but having spoken to others staying, smaller rooms were a bit dark and cold-depends how much time you’re going to spend in the room I guess, but this may be a disappointment.  We did Hortons Plains from here very early (5am start) and packed breakfast was supplied.  Breakfast was ok, usual eggs and toast and served on the outside terrace.  Staff were friendly and helpful so all in all a good option in Nuwara Eliya.  One small thing to add, this guest house is growing and whilst there weren’t any building works going on whilst we were there (high season) this may not always be the case, it also looks a bit unfinished but don’t let this put you off-it didn’t us!!

The staff were so friendly and the accommodating was cozy. We only stayed for one night but it was worth the money we spent. Great location really near to the town and 30 minutes from the train station.
