Very bad room and zero service..AC not working properly and no lock at bathroom door. Mosquitos around the room. No bed sheet provide. Plz don't go. I asked soap and water..then they provide me. Other vise no even a water. But they charged 27USS Aprx. U can find a best place form 20USS in negambo. 

The room was quite spacey and had basic things you need - table, chairs,mirror and a place to dry clothes. Not very clean though, especially the floor was impossible to step on barefoot without getting very dirty. The bathroom was standard. No mosquito net but we got plug in repellent. We were there in quite busy time, national holiday and weekend,so we could hear the music playing on the beach, but i believe it is mostly very quiet place here.

average place to stay if you are just going to use the room to sleep. the aircon didn't work which wasn't a problem as it had a fan.. I think it was a little over prices 10USD per night per person. I found a lovely guest house with friendly staff just down the road for 8USD per person per night.. the hotel wasn't exactly anything special. I would only recommend if you are just planning to use the room to sleep at nights. if you plan to spend more time then go elsewhere.

I was glad to see that this establishment was finally on Trip Advisor. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had. We landed there by chance. Received quite coldly, we had each paid in advance for our individual room. As we had planned to go to visit the Negombo fish market, I took care to hide the cash I had with me (or 400 euros) in my toilet bag, at the bottom of my backpack. When we returned, two hours later, the money was gone. I even asked the manager, who didn't want to know anything. We left without sleeping there, if everything was already in order.

Hide your money.

It's one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. The owners are scammers, trying to cheat the bill. The rooms are huge empty rooms. The ventilator, the bed, the sink and the lizard. There was no hot water. There was no one else in the hotel except us. It's not far from the airport.

The dark one is rare

The manager asked for his money when we entered the room the first time in a non polite way. The room was dark, not cleaned, toilet flush broken, sand on the floor and on the table, not comfortable bed, no mosquito screen over beds, door lock almost broken. Bathroom equipment in a bad condition. No english speaking staff. Rubbish around the guest house and the way to the beach.

I put my back pack in the reception office for some hours with the manager's permission. There, some of my cash and my SD card for camera were stolen.

The worth guesthouse in Sri Lanka

Sadly i found this place on my last night in town but for the price of only 2k a night it was not that bad and better then what i had at my last place and half the price ! 
The room was a good size with a big bed plus a table watch was useful as well as a on sweet bath room with piping hot water
