We spent just one night and it was fine. Clean place, nice swimming pool, nice garden and there's an old house full of charm. Three bedrooms and the people who take care of the food and service don't sleep at home, they come back the next morning.

What a quiet and welcoming place!

This was a short one night stop. There was nothing to do here but sleep. Nowhere to hang clothes but a large room with good size shower. The couple there were lovely and we ate a nicely cooked vegetarian curry. There was curryfor breakfast too and my husband had a strong reaction to this later in the day. I ate eggs with no bread? But that was ok. However the owner felt we should be charged a tax which was far more than our evening meal. We questioned this and eventually it was taken off our bill. However this was not the fault of the lovely couple who worked there.

With over 100+ acres of coconut plantation to walk and explore, your body will thank you for the chance to rejuvenate from the positive ions in the atmosphere.

The pool is ever so inviting and is a lovely place to relax and read a book or enjoy a cold brew or pure coconut water!

The authentic village style Sri Lankan rice & curry is something else... You will be hard-pressed to leave.

There are three large air-conditioned rooms available that will help you sleep like a baby after the daily activities.

Senaka the chief care-taker is ever willing to explain the intricacies and workings of the coconut estate if you want first-hand knowledge, especially on any stage of the 44 month life-cycle of the coconut!

Littlemore Coconut Plantation

It's a very small guest house with a few rooms, in the middle of a forest of coconut trees. The whole house has remained as it was in the colonial times: back to the insured past. The little lady who takes care of this place is extremely kind! We eat so well there. Rice & curry is probably the best we've eaten in Sri Lanka (good, a little spicy though) and breakfast is super cozy.

A guest house out of time: beautiful!

Three bedrooms in the middle of the coconut trees, a swimming pool overflowing with coconut, birds, monkeys and rice fields. Beautiful walks. A dream terrace to meditate on or dream on. Lovely family home, drinks and excellent rice and curry. Hard to find without a Google map! Hard to leave!

A little corner of heaven!

The place is beautiful: quiet, relaxing, the house is very beautiful surrounded by coconut trees. A nice swimming pool is very nice. We had a great time just before we got back. Dinner is excellent: we advise you on rotty and curry, a slaughterhouse. The super nice staff. The only insects we see in the evenings when they enter the rooms. We should have mosquito nets.

It's a beautiful place.

We stayed there for our last night in Sri Lanka and we were very sorry that we hadn't spent at least two nights.It is an ideal place to relax, stroll among the coconuts, read and enjoy the pool.The rooms and common areas retain the original decor, which transports you back to the past.The friendly staff and the delicious homemade food, the best rice & curry of the holidays.

Wonderful and wonderful.

As soon as you enter the coconut plantation, you think that the end of the road will be impressive. And indeed, after a few kilometers you arrive on a clear path where the guesthouse is located. Very beautiful old colonial house, chairs to stroll under the porch, facing the coconut trees and the pool, a moment of relaxation and peace. The rooms are very beautiful, well equipped (ventilation, climate', takeoffs, large bed, meals...) with an extremely pleasant Sdb and with warm water. We had supper and lunch on site. They are cheaper than in most guesthouses we host in Sri Lanka. The people who host you are very smiling and pleasant.

It's a great place to recharge.

We started our honeymoon with one night in the peaceful Littlemore Estate Bungalow. It was secluded, quiet and comfortable. 

Our driver found the house easily, which is located in the grounds of a coconut farm with plenty to explore if you want a walk before dinner/breakfast. 

There is a pool, a nice relaxing veranda and once the small lookout dogs are comfortable with you (which took about 2 minutes) they become good walking buddies. 

Our room didn't have a mosquito net, so unless you have one you will need to cover up and wear DEET. But the rest of the room was lovely. Decent shower too!

The main thing to note is that the food here is AMAZING! It was actually the best we ate in our 2 weeks in Sri Lanka (until we had Mama's in Galle Fort). I recommend that you eat local - dal curry, kiri bath, potatoes, sambol, etc. If you plan on doing a cooking course, I would ask here if you can watch them cook. Their English is not amazing but the food is so don't miss out - in hindsight we regret not asking. 

If you are travelling to Sigirya after getting to Sri Lanka and don't want to hectic drive all the way from Colombo, grab a slice of relaxation here. 

Great place to start any trip around Sri Lanka

Lovely room and pool. Hard to find and not much to do once there, which is good and bad! Nice food and best coconut water I've ever drunk. Great one night stopover but probably wouldn't stay longer than that unless you need to switch off completely
