Located overlooking the lake just a few minutes walk from the town centre/temple complex. Very easy to get tuktuks from there if you prefer not to walk. Quiet and peaceful setting with lots of greenery around. The common area is very spacious with lounge sofas and reading/study table. There is also a lot of quality reading material available. The common area includes a dining table and a pantry area which is fitted with an electric kettle, microwave, sandwich toaster, full size fridge, ample crockery & cutlery and wash basin. The owner Wasantha and his family are very warm, friendly and helpful with lots of advice and even arranged a taxi for us at 530am in the morning as well as our train tickets from Kandy to Colombo. · The weather was unusually hot and humid yet we were able to enjoy our stay with fans (no aircons fitted) because the property is very airy and our room opened onto a balcony facing the lake and cool breezes.
