Habarana Inn

It was my first time to stay at Habarana Inn and I must say it was great for my first. I spent a night with my family. Restaurant and the service was superb. They were very attentive and always checking on us if we need anything. Thank you for making our stay worth. 

Ideal place to have a meals whilst travel either trinco or or polonnaruwa 

Manage by Mr Uduwaka , who is a retired Hotelier.  Freindly staff and Specially Karunarathna is one of a person who gave us best service during the time 

We stayed one night in habarana inn. The building has seen better days but the location is great, close to Dambulla, Sigiriya, and two national parks. The staff were very friendly, especially Harry who made us feel at home. The food is very good, the rooms are simple but comfortable. I would recommend it.

Very friendly, helpful hosts, had our first authentic  Sri Lankan food here and it was delicious. The 2 bedroom villa was so cute, so much room, air con in bedroom and fan in lounge. Spotlessly clean apart from the shower alcove which needed a good scrub and the hand held shower hose kept falling down. Comfortable bed but noisy traffic as on a main road. Had a kitchen with a good sized refrigerator.  The habarana inn is across the road (same owners), handy for meals,  and breakfast was included. Close to the main street for shops. Owners organised a jeep tour at a good price out to see the elephants and we saw 100s!! Thanks for a great 3 night stay. From Chris and Louise, Australia.

Elegant old style guest house near the center. By the side of A6 highway and one can reach many attractions and main cities such as Sigiriya, Dambulla,Trincomalee, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa in short duration.  Ideal place to spend the holiday and explore the area. The guest house with cottage type bedrooms comes with a veranda. Room was air conditioned and the bed was very comfy. Linens and towel were fresh. Bathroom en-suite and hot water available. The property had a large restaurant and a parking slot.

 We enjoyed a good meal here. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is clean. I can definetly recommend this restaurant. A plus is that the WiFi works great, which we had problems with at other places.

Friendly staff, good food

Terrible. Management has no enthousiasm whatsoever. Staff Cant let People have breakfast whitout asking a dozen of unclear questions, even tough you ask to be left alone until after the breakfast. Room: Plain dirty. Shower: to wear your shoes in, i was afraid tot lose a toe due to infections. The shower curtain was black from fungus.

We went here for lunch, ordered a curry and rice. The food was okay but resulted in two days of upset stomach for both of us. The table cloths were filthy and the waiter couldn't seem to take the hint to leave us alone. He kept on coming up behind one or other of us and whispering stupid things. A must to miss!

My advice to all is don't ever go to this horrible place. The rooms are old and the linen is stained. There are so many nice hotels for half their rate. We were charged Rs. 7000 when lunch only cost 4000. The owners are terrible and money hungry, and

A never to go olace

Bad management and Services. They only think about the money. Food is very low quality. But the price is very high. Staff is also not much friendly. Place is ok. But not value for money. Not recommended this place.
