We stopped off here for one night, which certainly was not enough. The value for your money is beyond anything, an entire apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, hot showers. (Slightly dated) but to wake up in the morning to Monkeys, parrots, tropical birds was amazing. The member of staff that was keeping eye over the hotel could not do enough for us, even escorting us to our resturaunt on the night so that we wouldn’t get lost.

Perfect little hide away hotel

Almost everything. The owner is adorable, super hospitable and helpful. The apartment is super large and has everything we need and much more.

I'll give you a heartbeat!

It was our first hotel out of six in Sri Lanka. We initially left the hotel with the owner and he met us at the airport (after a hard and long flight from Yekaterinburg). It was raining, but we got into a fairy tale: a hotel with three balconies and everywhere different views: to the garden, to the sea, to the courtyard. All the vibrancy with us and monkeys and all the singing birds! Everything is very convenient in shower rooms, a washing machine. You can always order breakfast at the family's convenience.

We had a great stay at this hotel in late December 2014.

We were at the hotel 19/10 -30/10. Some were in a three-story villa, because it wasn't a season. What it was about - unclear... like a wave in the ocean in a smaller season... but it would be even a pity. For us everything was great. About the hotel. Convenient apartments were very close to the beach. The best rooms on the third floor, good view. There was no elevator. It was just a transition, clean, air conditioning in both bedrooms, fans in all the rooms. Three bathrooms - a separate attraction, with sunsets, sunsets, animals and birds in less season... It's a wonderful rainy season

We've been here for two weeks in October 2013 and we're very happy. We're signing up for every word APavlenko - better than you can say. We recommend to lovers of solitude and nature.

Home is where I am.

It's the best hotel for any kind of vacation - family, beach, tourist, educational, and three balconies to the tropical rainforest, for example. Just 250 m to the ocean, on the shore, thank God, there's absolutely nothing entertaining in this area. But there are excellent conditions for living in an inexpensive price (65 dollars/day), but a high-quality apartment consisting of spacious hallways, two bedrooms, kitchen, shower, toilet and three balconies that go to the tropical forest.

About the Mount House hotel, Dikwella

The hotel is situated quite far from the beach and the town of Dikwella is not that exciting even though the beach is very nice. Our apartment was enormous, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room. It was clean and newly renovated. 

We didn´t see anyone from management and the staff who were there did not speak any english. The hotel had a bit of a unfinished feel to it. It felt as they had not quite opened fully yet.
