Very old hotel, very little personal, very noisy, bad food, bad buffet, bad facilities, old rooms, bad cleanliness, this hotel, if it were taken care of, would be good enough, the good situation with regard to being close to the beach.

 Disappointing.

We took the option for a price, we expected something simple, as in some opinions I had seen, the hotel food had little variety and was very repetitive, certain meals seemed to be reused, and also a terrible heat in the dining room.The simple room, closet without perches, and little place to put things, very old mattresses with mules locked in the back and of all the beds (for the floor luck sleep like a log..), if you have problems with the noise the air conditioning equipment for the night if it is good enough.The only good thing is that it was quite close to the beach and benalmadena and we loved the charming group, ah and if I forgot the wifi we arrived very well at night.

Well for the price it costs.

The hotel was as we expected. The room was really large with a small, flamboyant terrace, its desk with chair, a comfortable seating area, a closet and double beds. That was definitely the worst thing in the room. The docks slammed you while you slept. Super uncomfortable beds where you woke up with severe back pain. The truth that for the price you can't ask for much more but if you just change the rooms, the hotel would be much better. The room had a very good terrace, the quality looked good towards the pool area and the taste of being there. The bathroom was nice, a normal bathroom. The rooms were really nice, a normal bathroom. Read on if you want a vacation and have little money to spend.

All the bad things that are said about it are true, unroofed rooms, no beds, but camasters that squeal to the minimum you move, almost non-existent animation, prison food, they didn't even bother to run the pasta and take it out with the cooking water, repetitive, bag, salad, soda... for your breakfasts are separate, chorizo, morcilla, bacon, eggs and industrial bakery, always the same, the eleven days we stayed. Clean it well, but the same lation to the sweets that are at four o'clock in the morning and all this was done without. The pool or the probe, I won't run the filter or a single day and the water a white colored to the first taste of the morning when you try to clean the kitchen (even the laundry room and the kitchen are called the restaurant, and I'm sure that you can make a few days's worth of a meal in the hotel, even if you want to spend a little time in the afternoon in the hotel, I'm sure that you'll want to make sure that you're a little more

The simple room, closet without perches, and little place to put things, very very old mattresses with nailed mules in the back (luckily the floor sleeps like a trunk..), if you have problems with the noise the air conditioning equipment at night sounds good enough.

Decadente is a decadent.

Myself along with many other Uk arrivals were instantly moved to different hotels when arriving here. The Goya has been taken over by the Vita Hoteliers Group.  If they raise the standard of the Goya to that of the Vita hotel  I was moved to things should improve. The Vita Fenix in Torremolinos has excellent food and staff, is clean and well organised. I think Vita know the Goya is not up to their standard and should take steps to improve it if they want to keep their uk customers.

Under New Management

Just back from a stag weekend away, hotel very accommodating, did not mind music by the pool. Most people go to the beach so we had the pool all day. Rooms we're clean, you get what you pay for. Not as bad as the reviews it's a little like a poor travel lodge.

Sure, we're looking for the 3 stars a bit but overall we were satisfied with our stay in this hotel, the proof we were there for 3 days and we extended our stay by 4 days and the other hotels afterwards were far from better. The setting is nice and the pool is nice, the hotel is well located, close to the sea, not far from the entertainment! We had a small balcony overlooking the sea, ideal for a drink in the evening... it must be hard to say that this is horrible... it's a hiccup at the right price compared to others, so it's a good quality/price ratio! Only: the lunch is too small. If I go back to this area, I'll go back to the hotel.

Everything is to be forgotten!!!!!!! old-fashioned premises (rooms and communes), presence of insects, dirty but at will breakfast,.... in short the style of establishment that makes you bitterly regret not having visited this site before any booking.

never again

Booked for two nights with four other members of my family, arrived at the hotel and was instantly moved to the Velazquez hotel, however on arrival at the Velazquez, told the children to go and look at the pool, which they came back and told me it was empty and there was green mouldy water in the other, after arguments etc, we were eventually moved back to the Goya, refused to pay for the two rooms until we had checked them out, one was basic, the other had no curtains but a door with gaping holes in, with daylight shining through, so went straight back downstairs and checked out. Hotel is a dump that is probably 30 years out of date. Do not go to the goya, the el Greco or the Velazquez, they are crap
