We had a wonderful time in this guesthouse. Our Room was very nice and very clean, also Lounge and pool area 
Ninja,  Mats and the Team did everything that we felt home.
My husband had a accident and they helped and supported us a lot. 
Breakfast was excellent.

Stylish, classy, comfortable, clean with attention to detail. A place you can relax, unwind and just be.  It was perfect!
Friendly hosts with lots of advice and suggestions for dining and visiting if you wish.
Delicious breakfast including freshly homemade bread, granola and healthy shots. (Granola particularly devine). 
Wine and beers available at any time.
Secure parking.
Breathtaking views and heated pool.
Spacious room with everything you could possibly need. Even room mist!
Others have mentioned the open plan layout of the room and yes, the bathroom has no door, but there is a balcony where you can sit and ponder the amazing view whilst giving your partner some privacy. This doesn’t detract from the overall idyllic experience.

It is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The guest house is such a great place to enjoy and with the hosts Ninja & Mats, it is almost perfect. We will always recommend Cambalala and looking forward to come back as soon as possible. With an extended reservation just to take a deep breath and return with fully charged batteries.

Stayed for 4 nights in room 1. It was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need in a room. Stepped out to the pool, which I might add is heated just in case the temperature drops. Our Swedish hosts were excellent. Made to feel home from home. They refer to their team as The Cambalala Family. They were all super friendly. You would be hard pushed to better the breakfast. Lots of homemade items like cakes, fruit shots. The view could not be bettered for Knysna. Thank you all, we hope we can get back again to visit.

If you want an excellent place to stay with top class of everything from welcoming, service minded staff, grand hotel rooms, magnificent view,delicious home made breakfast this is the place to visit. 

With Ninja and Mats you feel like you're with your best friends. The house, the terrace, the breakfast room - everything is lovingly designed and they prepare a fresh and healthy breakfast for you. The view over the infinity pool is breathtaking. Come and experience it for yourself. You will be thrilled. 

A beautiful guest house set in amazing gardens with terrific views of the lagoon. The hosts are so welcoming and the breakfasts a delight - homemade, very healthy and tasty. The rooms are very spacious and clean, each with their own balcony and there are lots of different places around the property and gardens to sit and relax. 

It was a fantastic stay. The location and the very tastfull Swedisch design with attention to the smallest details. The large room and bathroom where you immediatly feel at home. Not to mention the very friendly hosts and staff and finally one of the best views we ever had. We can only recommend the place and will certainly go back. A little piece of paradise in Knysna.

Such a lovely & warm welcome from super hosts Ninja & Mats with a nice glas of wine on the patio….. Fantastic rooms & breakfast was a dream- freshly home made delicious bread & pasteries, as well as super prepared egg dishes . We used the fantastic infinity pool evey day. The view is stunning & unic. We can warmly recomend this Guest house. BIG thank you to the whole team.

Dream stay 

From the momet we arived I felt like home. I was amazed by the luxurious house, the view and wonderful staff. During our stay we've been exploring knysna and the sounding areas. Both on land and at sea. Must recommend going on a katamaran through the gap. It was so fun! 
We love it here at Cambalala and we will definitely come back soon. Greastest hosts Mats and Ninja thank you for making our stay so fantastic.

Magic stay

Such a lovely stay. A perfect setting of everything. From the second we arrived the host Ninja made us feel so welcomed & special. She helped us out with amazing suggestions what to do and where to go & where to eat.
Breakfast was fantastic with homemade fresh bread , healthy shots & yummy pastries. The eggs was also very tasty. Staff was so friendly and always helpful.
We can highly recommend this GEM in Knysna.
We miss it already & will absolutely come back. BIG thank you to the whole Cambalala team. Very well done. 5 star in our opinion .

The most perfect stay ever!

After a few weeks traveling in South Africa I must admit that this was one of the best places we stayed at.

Absolutely stunning. It has spacious and beautiful rooms overlooking the bay. Great breakfast and the hospitality was superb 🥰.

A must give this 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ even though it says 4..
