Canto de Luz

We had an incredible stay at Canto de Luz and highly recommend it—especially for families traveling with little ones!The location is perfect: central yet on a quiet street, and we found Porto much more stroller-friendly than Lisbon. We could walk everywhere with ease. Our City Retreat suite on the ground floor was super convenient with our 17-month-old, offering plenty of space (including a long hallway for him to run around). The large pack ‘n play crib was perfect, and the floor-to-ceiling windows could be fully blacked out, making naps a breeze—for both baby and parents!Breakfast each morning was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. They even provided baby cutlery and plates, which was such a nice touch. The bright, airy dining space with large windows overlooking the terrace made for a lovely start to the day. Though we couldn’t use the heated pool due to the weather, it was a great added feature.The staff was wonderful—Susan was always available via WhatsApp, and Joanna warmly greeted us each morning. They even provided milk for our baby when we arrived late and hadn’t had time to go to the grocery store. The small details, like a towel-warming rack, easy-to-use washer/dryer, intuitive lighting, and an incredibly comfortable bed, made our stay extra special.We absolutely loved our experience at Canto de Luz and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Porto, especially families.
