We spent 3 nights here. This is an excellent location for exploring both Gol and the surrounding mountains. There are several hiking paths just down the road. I was also pleased to discover a lack of mosquitos. We stayed in an apartment that is attached to the barn. All 5 of us fit comfortably in bunk beds in the one bedroom. The toilet and shower are divided into two rooms, which was handy in the mornings. The shower had good water pressure and didn’t leak. The kitchen is fully equipped with a proper cooker and a fridge. Some basic utensils are missing and some of the plates were chipped. We didn’t mind about that, as the owner charges a very affordable rate to stay here. The kitchen is quite snug, but has seating for 3-4 people, and there is a decently sized living room with a TV next to it. So once we had learned to spread ourselves between the two rooms, we were comfortable. There is poor wifi in the apartment, but this was clearly communicated by the owner. There is a good signal in front of the reception, a short walk away. We were very pleased with our stay, and would certainly return. I’d venture that this is some of the best value for money you can get in Gol.
