I do recommend this place for anyone staying in Nepal (Patan) for a short or long period. PATANsquared is in a very good location, within walking distance from Patan Durbar square and shops and restaurants in Patan. The staff was always very helpful and friendly when I needed anything (thanks, Happy!).  Sabita's breakfast is always good and different everyday. Pemba and Jason are always available for any questions about what to do in Nepal. This place has a special atmosphere and it's nice to see young people creating such spaces in the country!

Patansquare is a lovely guesthouse. Very friendly, home from home. Happy, our host was great, and also organised trekking for us. Nice garden too. Walking distance to Patan and nice pubs close by too. Across the road from the Norwegian Embassy.

I stayed in a private double room. The room was beautiful and very cosy. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the breakfast was generous and tasty. 

The garden is really nice and it is in a quiet area, very relaxing. I would recommend it. Thank you!

Our stay at Patan squared was simply perfect. The rooms are amazingly well done. The area is nice and quiet, away from the smoggy streets. The best part was the hospitality. With the help of Happy (the amazing manager) we were able to arrange everything that we needed to get arranged.

I greatly enjoyed my 2 week stay at ParanSquared. The place is off the main road so it is quiet and private. Happy, the house manager, did a wonderful job of organising activities to do in the surrounding areas. The people here are really friendly and it's a great place to meet other travelers and hear their stories. It's not too far from shops and I was allowed to use the kitchen to cook my own meals in the evening.

I spend a week in this wonderful place. Everything was perfect. Stuff is so helpful and friendly! They made my stay easy and unforgettable. Rooms and shared areas are really warm and with all details. Look forward to come back again. Thank you.🙏

We stayed in the furnished 2BR apartment of the SherpaShah/ PatanSquared quest house for 2 months (Oct-Dec 2019) while we searched for a house, after relocating to Nepal for my job. It was perfect! The apartment was warm, inviting, well provisioned and very centrally located in Sanepa, to lots of shops and restaurants. It also came with cleaning and laundry included. Jason, Happy and the team at the guest house were SO friendly and helpful as we navigated learning about life in Nepal and were very responsive to anything we needed in the apartment. My colleagues on short trips love the main guesthouse, and many have joined the short tourist excisions they offer, such as a 2-hr walking tour, or half or full day hikes. I would absolutely recommend it! 

We stayed here for our first name gets in Nepal and returned at the end of our holiday. The accommodation is located in a quiet spot but near to shops and food options and a half hour walk from Patan's Durbar Square. RK was a friendly and helpful host and the room was clean and spacious.

PATANsquared offers an unique experience in busy and hectic Kathmandu: it offers you peace and tranquility in a spaceous and beautifully decorated house. There is an eye for the smallest detail in the decoration of the rooms, kitchen and gardens. Everywhere in the house you find bookcases stuffed with great books. The kitchen is spaceous, very clean (like everything in the house) and there is free coffee and tea. The included breakfast is so much more than I expected from included breakfast: fresh fruits, yoghurt, muesli, good coffee and freshly cooked potatoes and omelette.
There are several relaxing spots in the garden, the balkony and on the roof terrace and the room is very spaceous and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 
If you are coming to Kathmandu, PATANsquared is the best place to stay.

The BnB with the bonfire, amazing hosts and even more interesting will keep things alive during the stay. Their amazing knowledge of the place and other experiences around makes things even better. Loved it completely ❤️.
