We arrived in Marrakesh for our honeymoon and were due to stay at hotel Tichka. This hotel Was a scam, As when we arrive the hotel was CLOSED! long story short, my husband and I found this riad on booking. Com at midnight whilst sitting in a taxi. The taxi driver was brilliant and helped us call the riad and track down its manager in the dead of night...as no other hotel was available. The manager kindly provided us a room for the week and instructed the taxi driver to bring us to the riad. As it was the middle of the nigth and we booked in a desperate situation so we didn't know what to Expect. The next morning we woke up to the most BEAUTIFUL home. The rooms were lovely and authentic, with a modern touch. The hotel was spotless and provided all the 5 star amenities and service. The staff were INCREDIBLE.. The house maids and 2 lovely concierge men made our trip beyond special and made us completely forget our horrible start to the honeymoon. They completely won our hearts with a delish home made breakfast first this in the morning, which was serviced on the rooftop. They gave us a free upgrade to a larger room on the round floor and decoareted it with candles and roses which was so heartwarming. They also have a jacuzzi on the rooftop, which they also filled with rose petals when we wanted to use it. It was very private and relaxing. The riad has only 6 rooms and was very quite, pieceful.. It felt as though we had this home all to ourselves. It was located walking distance from the main souk, square, the mosque, BAHI Palace and many more places. The best location to grab a taxi and food. The riad was right next to the hospital zohr.. Which they call mamonia hospital as its right next to the grand Hotel. But we take small alladin like alleys to the road with bakeries and stores on the way, children playing.. Which made it feel like the REAL MARRAKESH. Extremely safe, lively. The most perfect honeymoon. Thank you all xxx
