I've stayed at Manyatta Camp a charming place at 5 * and even more where you eat well and very clean a place as a queen, and he is the king of safari a boy who is not a beach boy and does not work in the village but a serious person and above all an expert and advises where to go and what is best to do knows the Italian it is called King Discover Kenya + 393481805337

Manyatta is incredible

We stayed here for three nights. Our "tent" faced the park and we had lovely views of the animals on their way to the water hole at Voi Wildlife Lodge. The "tents" were not really tents but lodges with a tent roof. The layout of the bathroom was odd with a separate shower and toilet and a wash basin in the room. The bed was quite hard but the pillows were good. The pool on the tents patio  was fantastic and it was great to cool off in there and watch the animals going by at the same time. There is a footpath from Manyatta to Voi WL so you can walk through and visit the waterhole there.  The food was OK , perfectly edible and plenty of it.  The staff were all lovely, especially the man at the bar whose name we unfortunately forget. He was very funny! The packed lunches we had were superb! The best we have had anywhere. We will definitely return here for our next Tsavo trip 

Ideal spot for Voi

Amazing. Good food. A huge tent with all the amenities except for the hair dryer. A terrace with a private swimming pool overlooking the savannah. We saw elephants, giraffes and zebras directly from our terrace! It's a shame we only stayed one night.

It's wonderful.

I spent one night, during the two-day safari in Tsavo East, in this campsite. Of course the tent is made to say since it has a stone raised floor and a sheet covered roof. It is quite large with a double bed and a single one, equipped with mosquito nets, besides the toilet and shower. There is no hair dryer. Beautiful terrace overlooking the savannah with private swimming pool. We saw elephants and antelopes right in front of us. The food was good, although not very varied. To try.

Good accommodation in the Tsavo East

A special place overlooking Tsavo East with friendly and super available staff. The curtains are supplied with water (also warm) and light and beds are very comfortable. Clean at the top of the whole structure...of course remember that you are in the tent 😁 but sleeping in the noise of the park is a super experience

Tender on the Tsavo East

I stayed at the Manyatta Lodge for just two nights but it was a truly wonderful experience. To start with the staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. Abu on reception was very welcoming and kind and the guards were really helpful when baboons came near to the tent. 

The room itself is fantastic. The bed is very comfortable and the tent itself is spacious and clean. There is a wonderful balcony with a private pool in each tent which really is magical, allowing you to look out over Tsavo. I saw zebra, baboon, giraffe, elephants and more all from the balcony. 

The food was amazing prepared by Chef Lennox and George and expertly served by Paul. There was a great variety in what was on offer and everything was well prepared. I stayed full board which included a packed lunch box which was excellent also. 

Location couldn’t have been better. It is incredibly close to Voi gate but as aforementioned you can see lots of wildlife from the balcony. 

Overall, this was a wonderful stay and as a young solo female traveller I felt very safe and secure so would definitely recommend a stay here :)

A magical stay in Manyatta

The location right at the national park is wonderful. The entrance gate Voi is about 4 km away, various tours are offered and organized by the lodge. We were staying in a standing tent, very spacious and equipped with everything. It includes a terrace with a small private pool. Here you can sit and watch the animals stroll by. Fantastic! In the waterhole of the neighboring lodge where you can stroll, a hippopotamus lived when we were inside! The lodge is great, of course I could get vegetarian dishes. The staff/food there are all very friendly. A really pleasant place.

The view of the wildlife is fantastic!

Very good welcome Jolie tent (decoration to be reviewed) Room not ready on our arrival: SALE, full of animal carcasses inside our tent, which was very quickly cleaned Tent poorly maintained but incredible view on Tasvo East Park with private swimming pool, allowing you to see giraffes and elephants passing

Very good experience

Beautiful location in the middle of Tsavo Easy Natural Park. A real comfortable clean Glamping with a huge and very comfortable bed. Park view terrace and private swimming pool. After the showers we saw passing elephants and other animals. Unique experience!

We advise

We were disappointed by this lodge. Positive points: large room, the lodge in front of the bush (elephants came to graze right in front of us) Very comfortable litter Latout main is the private pool. Negative points: It was not a real tent but 4 concrete walls covered with a tent roof. Badly maintained lodge. Cockroaches coming out of the mouth of the shower evacuation, giant spiders, ants in our bed. Transits are dirty, worn-out servings. Food is not good. WiFi is correct 10 minutes from the entrance to Tsavo East Park (Voi) On a safari in this reserve, we saw the beautiful red giraffes, Gate, cobalt, elephants, cloves and elephants with great luck.
