28 reviewsThe neat comfortable suite transports you back in time. Luxury bathtub adds to the experience. It feels like historical place, which is charming, but have some downsides: not much storage room, no window blinds (but it didn't bother us much). If you want breakfast in the room, you have to eat it Japanese style, seating on tatami. Overall, I would still highly recommend the place. It's a welcoming break from international hotel chains. And the location is great - a lot of restaurants and bars walking distance away, metro station is nearby and the historical Kyoto district is just next door.
