Hotel Edelweiss

Stayed at the Edelweiss in February 2015 in a room with a balcony and views over the mountain. Very quiet, good quality linnen, always very clean, great shower. Perfect food: delicious fresh pasta with different sauces every day, mains were excellent, their stroganoff to die for! Cakes and icecream were delicious. Sometimes we even shared one main course to save space for pudding - and were offered a cheese plate just in case we were still hungry. Very considerate and efficient ladies serving food. Every morning the smell of freshly baked bread created a lovelly feel of staying in someones house rather then hotel. Children loved the pool room, we often played games in a room next door. Bar area with wood burning stove - very cosy. Lifts 5 minutes slow walk, there was a boot room in the hotel but I would hire heated locker just a few meters up the road at the ski hire place - 10 Euros for 4 people.
