Stayed here in 2022 and liked it enough to come back! Hard to beat the location right by the Mestre train station which is maybe a 5 minute walk. In the same parking lot are numerous buses that run to the airport, for easy pick-up and drop off. Check in was professional and efficient, I was even granted an upgrade that expanded the amount of living space available to enjoy. The hotel was also able to honor my request of a room in a more quiet spot and I was assigned the top floor with a view of the ship yard and partially the train station. The room itself is excellent with great soundproofing. I very rarely heard trains pass and even so it was only very faint. There's a highway nearby as well and occasionally one could hear revving engines, but that was few and far between. I never heard my neighbors through the walls but noise from the hallway does make it through the door, which is to be expected and never lasted long. The room itself was very large with plenty of space to spread out and settle in. The bed was comfy with good pillows and of moderate firmness, I slept well all nights I was in residence. There were ample outlets for electronic devices and the TV had a nice variety of channels to chose from, as well as other inputs such as "smart" options to pair with your own mobile device or laptop. My room included two nice and wide chairs that doubled as single sleeper sofas, though I did not try out the bed component. My room included a small kitchenette that included most of the basics necessary to keep yourself well-fed through your stay. Plates, silverware, a variety of cups, a stove, dishwasher, mini fridge, kettle and even a few pots/pans. I stocked up at the Spar grocery store just a five minutes walk from the hotel and it served me well over the four days at the StayCity. The bathroom had a toilet and bidet, as well as a nice sized shower. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water should you need it. If I had to be nitpicky, there's no shelving in the shower and it got a little old to bend down each time I needed shampoo, plus the sink area has very little storage space either. Not dealbreakers but nice additions to consider in future renovations maybe. My shower drained very slowly my first night there but a quick message to the desk got that promptly remedied. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when I needed to do a load of laundry. This is done by appointment which I REALLY appreciated as it avoids the uncertainty of if a machine will be ready or not. It was 5 euros to wash and 5 euros to dry and the machines worked well (I did a medium sized load by American standards and everything came out clean and dry). I did not try the breakfast which can be added to your bill, nor the fitness center but both were available and well-signed. Overall, very happy with my second stay at this location and hope to return!
